"Alexa are you decent?" Jax shouts, practically ripping the door of the hinges when she calls for us to come in. I double check the barrier is secure before rushing to my cousin.

Jax is already hauling the bags out the cupboard and I help him pull out the last few.

Briskly, I move back to the door and lock it  before starts making another makeshift barricade out of furniture- allowing Jax to explain what is happening- when I hear shouting near by.

Alexa's hands shake as she helps pack essential things after he has finished reciting what I had told him before.

The shouting gets louder and I swear I feel my baby kick me. My hand flies to my stomach in surprise. Did that really just happen? Another kick follows behind and I shake slightly at the feeling. Are they scared?

"Don't worry, baby, mamma won't let anybody hurt you" I whisper quietly so the other didn't hear me, rubbing my stomach again; reassuring both of us.

"We are going to make it out of here safely. Naz has a helicopter waiting for us on the resort beach all we need is to get there in one piece" I hear Jax reassure her and it snaps me back into my defence training.

"Thats not going to be as easy as you make it sound" She gulps. I cross the room in a few strides and grab her shoulders firmly.

I force her to met my eyes as I  state as calmly as possible, "you need to stop worrying so much. It will cloud your judgment. You are Alexandria fucking Rayne Castillo and you can do anything you want. I will meet you in America and we can go to all our favourite places, okay? Just focus on how much fun it will be".

Alexa nod, taking in what I said. She gets lost in her thoughts and I let her for all of a 10 seconds before I watch as the penny drops. That took longer than I expected.

She's meant to be the smart one because it's obvious I'm the pretty one.

"Wait! Meet us there? You need to come with us, Elisa" She frowns and I rest my forehead on hers for a moment, soothing her like I used to do when we were children, before forcing myself to push her into Jax.

She would be better off with him looking after her. I wasn't ready to go back to America now and I couldn't go many other places that I wasn't some suspect for some crime. Not that many know my face as Alonso (my nerd of a brother) would erase all the CCTV and photo evidence on his computer after my missions if need be but I still don't want to risk it.

"I'll see you soon" I smile before Jax swings her over his shoulder and grabs the bags.

My face contorts slightly with pain when she tries to reach for me whilst sobbing my name. Damn hormones are making me emotional already. Thankfully, I manage to slip out of the window- scouting for any threats before moving Alexa- before she sees and I thank all the gods that ever existed. If she had seen the small weakness she would have tried to use it to her advantage.

I give Jax the signal before inching further across the wall so I have a clear sight of the men at the front door but they can't see me.

She lets out a heartbreaking scream behind me and I clamp my eyes shut. Trying to erase the sound from my brain.

The men must have heard it too as a deep, husky voice sounds as one mocks Alexa. They think she's locked herself in there and I smirk to myself at their idiocy. Surely they don't really underestimate me and our family that much. I watch for a few minutes as they all try to break down the door, laughing about how they can't wait to get their hands on her whilst not even being able to open a fucking door. God, they are pathetic. Even Alexa would have a chance against them and she's hardly even trained.
