Chapter eleven

Tessa: Hardin? Where are you?
Tessa wakes up but Hardin isn't in bed. She checks Emery's room and Emery is still asleep.
Tessa: Hardin???
She searches the house to see a note on the kitchen counter.
"Will be out all day but here's some money to take Emery somewhere fun. -Hardin"
Tessa smiles at the note and starts to make some breakfast.
Emery: Good morning, what's for breakfast?
Tessa: Emery! I made some pancakes for you.
Emery and Tessa eat the pancakes at the table until Carol wakes up.
Carol: Where's Hardin?
Tessa: I have no idea but he said to take Emery somewhere today.
Carol: We could go shopping!
Emery: We can get me some toys!
Tessa: Well I guess we can go to the mall then.
After breakfast, Emery, Carol, and Tessa start to drive to the mall for a girls day.
Carol: Tessa park there so we can quickly walk in without getting wet from the rain.
Tessa: It's barely raining Mother we can park in the parking garage indoors.
Emery: Where are we going to go first?
Carol: What about H&M?
Tessa: Sure let me just park first and then we can start heading in.
*** Three hours later after shopping***
Tessa: Well that was fun! Should we get some lunch before heading out?
Carol: Tessa, is that Hardin?
Tessa looks around to see Hardin gripping onto Logan's shirt. Tessa walks over to them to stop Hardin.
Tessa: What are you doing Hardin??
Hardin: Tessa what are you doing here???
Tessa: Me and my mother took Emery to the mall to shop for some toys! Now what are you doing to Logan?
Logan: Hey Tessa.
Hardin: Don't talk to her, Tessa i'm just calmly trying to tell Logan that Molly needs to stay away from us.
Logan: I will now will you let me go?
Hardin: Yes now leave.
Hardin let's go of Logan and turns back to Tessa.
Tessa: Emery has been waiting for you all day, she wants to show you her things that she got.
Hardin: I'll come home with you guys
Hardin walks over to Emery and Emery starts to show him her toys.
Carol: What was that all about?
Tessa: Oh nothing just some stuff that Hardin needed to say.
*** Back at home***
Tessa: So you've been going around and telling people to give Molly a message?
Hardin: Technically yes, but I also told all of them to back away as well.
Tessa: Sounds like something you'd do...
Hardin: I'd do anything to keep our children safe from those people, especially Molly.
Emery starts to play with her toys and Hardin joins her.
