A Change in Fate || Cedric Diggory [1]

Hi everyone! As promised, I'll be posting the details of the sequel in a while, but for now, I just want to talk about how much this book and I have gone through so bear with me if you're interested in finding out a bit about how this fanfic came to life :>

I actually started writing this in 2013 and published almost 30 chapters, but I grew out of Wattpad quickly. When I got back on here a few years later out of pure curiosity, I decided to rewrite the entire thing because I wasn't happy with my writing style back then and felt like this story had some potential. I unpublished the old version but it's still in my drafts because I don't have the heart to delete the entire thing :') I wish I could show you the original cover as proof of how old this fanfic really is, but I can't find it anymore because it's been so long. I do have these screenshots just to share with y'all how ancient this book is HAHA it makes me feel so nostalgic and I can't believe it's been that long since I started this :0

I went through a few more rewrites and hiatuses (because I just couldn't make up my mind lol), but at long last, this is finally complete! I won't make this last author's note any longer than it already is, so I just want to end by saying that I truly appreciate and love you all for reading this and supporting me. I know this isn't the best fic out there, but it's a product of my imagination and efforts, so it has a special place in my heart. And even though this is just a hobby of mine, I'm gonna work hard to explore more ideas, plots, and writing styles so I can make more fanfiction that are hopefully worth reading!

I really hope to see you all in the next book! I'll be updating that in my usual slow-ish pace (1-2 times a month) because I do have other commitments, but rest assured that I won't ghost this story and go on a bunch of hiatuses again HAHA.
