"Well....say something?" I chuckled nervously

I broke down and told hermione everything that's happened between Draco and I, besides the night at the astronomy tower...and that he's a death eater

"I...I honestly have no words y/n" she responded in complete shock

I laid back on my bed and sighed

"I guess the part that's confusing is, why did he lie about tutoring you? why does he have to take the hate potion if he wants you? why does snape lowkey ship you two? Or-"

"These are all the questions I've asked myself Mione...I'm just as confused as you" I laughed

"I guess I never pictured malfoy to be...somewhat soft" she joked

"Well that's the thing, that night In the library was the only night He's ever been that way...the next day it went straight back to the old Draco" I responded

She came over and sat on the bed next to me

"Maybe he's just confused? I mean have you ever actually seen him with a girl?" She scoffed

"Really?" I looked over at her and said sarcastically

"I mean, besides hooking up" she chuckled

"No" I responded

"See...he might seem intimidating but deep down...he's a teenage boy who's never settled" she explained

I hate when shes right.

"The whole thing is just a little...suspicious though Mione...I mean we've always hated each other, so what's different from this year?" I added

"People change y/n, I would have never thought I'd be head over heels for Ronald" she scoffed

"If only you two would date already" I rolled my eyes

She smacked me and laughed

"Do you still hate him...after everything?" She asked

I had avoided this question for awhile now.

"I'm not sure, it's like some days I can't stand the twat...and somedays it's like...I don't know" I sighed

"Well let's give it about about a month or so and then maybe you'll have an answer" she placed her hand on mine and smiled

I nodded

"Just don't tell Harry or Ron yet...they'll probably kill me once they find out" I laughed

"I promise I will not!" She laughed

"We've only ever disliked him because you always had, since year one...we promised we'd all hate him because you did." She chuckled

"Really? I had always thought something happened between you all" I joked

"I mean he is a complete jerk who constantly bullied us, but we were just loyal to you" she laughed

After many days of dueling practice in DADA, I'm still unsure why snape paired Draco and I together.

I've never talk much anymore, only when we meet up to practice dueling, even then...very few words are exchanged

I've been spending a lot more time with my Gryffindor friends...mostly Ron, Harry, Hermione, the twins, and Ginny.
