5:30am

Within seconds I stood in the kitchen. The empty wine glass set on the bar.

Silence.

I slowly walked out of the kitchen, hoping I could crawl back into bed for the next few hours.

When I walked into the bedroom, it was empty.

"Oh dear" I sighed, it's hard to tell where he was.

There was a loud knock at the door pulling me from my thoughts.

"Y/n? Merlin's beard!?" Hermione pulled me into a hug as soon as I opened the door.

"Did I miss something?" I hugged her back

"Elliot was worried sick! He had Harry, Ginny, Ron, and I looking everywhere for you...where have you been?" she spat

"I just ran to town for a little bit..."

She stood looking at me for a few seconds, then looked to see if anyone else was around.

"You're a complete twat if you think I believe you" she shook her head and whispered

"I'm telling the truth" I scoffed

"Hm" she rolled her eyes

"Did you find her?" Ron stepped on the porch trying to catch his breath

"Yeah...she went to town" she turned and winked at me

"Town? At 5:30? You've got to be kidding" Ron scoffed

"Exactly what I said" Hermione teased

Some commotion came from the driveway.

"There's Harry, Ginny, and Elliot now"

"Over here!" Ron waved them over

"Merlin's beard, y/n" Elliot hugged me

"I thought someone kidnapped you" he laughed, still holding on.

"I just went to town dear, I'm sorry I startled you" I kissed him

"It's just...after the party and running into malfoy and all that noise in the kitchen last night and then waking up with you missing...I didn't know what to think" he sighed

One word caught their attention....Malfoy

Hermione, Ron, and Harry's ears seemed to perk up.

"Malfoy?" Hermione mouthed and smirked

"Elliot do you care to put on some coffee for the guests while their here?" I asked

"I'll be back...don't go run off" he chuckled and kissed my forehead

"Okay we need to talk" Hermione pulled me from everyone

Draco's POV:

"So how are things?" Mum asked

"Fine"

"Draco please-"

"Stop! don't act like you care now that y/n is around" I spat

"We do care dear"

They don't.

After graduation, I finally told them how y/n thought it would be best for us to call it quits. They thought I pushed her away. I can't say I blame them, it sounds like something I'd do.

I did agree with y/n, it was for the best.

Ever since then, I moved to Sussex; only talked through letters and only came around during Christmas.
