So I had this thought that since Shigaraki is obsessed with videogames and such that what if sometimes when hes pitching a fit Kurogiri just like drops him off at an arcade.
Like go use your obsession to calm down and just kicks him out to go to the arcade.
He eventually becomes an expert at most of the games and even sets a few records on dance dance revolution when no ones looking. Not that anyone can prove that those scores belong to a top tier villian.
I can see it being a plot starter or twist for alot of things like him meeting Bakugo the day of the sludge villian and getting competitive over a fighter game or something.
Ive seen a couple fics that he meets Deku this way and its really cute.
