Y/n's home

Opening my eyes, a pair of arms wrapped tightly around me, keeping me safe is all I can see. Richie's slow, steady breathing makes me just want to fall back to sleep. Since we had some... Fun, I'm still exhausted.

I yawn and sit up, prying Richie's arms off of me.

"Don't gooo." He mumbles into the pillow as he wraps his arms around it.

"You'll be fine."

"Wow. First day and he's late."

Scott and I laugh outside of the pizzeria while taking a short break. Dave decided to be late for his first day on the job. Totally understand that though.

"Speak of the devil here he comes now." Scott nods his head towards Dave, who just got out of his car.

"Sorry I'm late, I had missed my alarm." He nervously chuckles, arriving at the front with us.

"It's fine employee!" Scott pats his back "we all have those days!"

Walking inside, we all part ways... Well, except for Dave. He follows me into my office.

I set my stuff down on my desk and turn to him. "Would you like a tour?"

"A tour would be lovely." His smile grows as he puts his keys into his pocket.

I bring him all around the pizzeria, telling him what to do and what not to do. He seems honestly bored which is strange. He's not even paying attention. Guess that means we got to have a little quiz at the end of this tour.

I point to parts and service. "Do not, under any circumstances go into that room."

"Why?" Suddenly, his interest goes up.

"Reasons we can't talk about."

"What's in there?"

"Nothing that concerns you at the moment. "

"Interesting..." He trails off and turns to me. "Is that all?"

"Yep! Though, I want you to tell me something."

"Hm?"

"Point to each room and it's purpose."

He sighs before pointing to each door and telling me what people do in each one... Without stuttering or thinking once. Was he paying attention? Or has he been here before. Anyone who didn't pay attention and especially someone who's from out of town would get puzzled from this question. I have no choice to suspect Dave is lying to me.

But... Why?

"Excellent Dave!" I smile and start to walk back to my office. I need to think of simple tasks for him to do but I should also keep an eye on him. I want to know how well he knows his way around.

Sitting down at my desk, I think of a task. It should be a place I haven't talked about before. Just in case he asks about it.

"I need you to do a task for me, would you please get into and under the stage and make sure the cords to the lights are fully plugged in and are working properly?" If he's really new to this town and this pizzeria, he'll ask where it is. If not, he should find the trap door with no help.

"Sure thing." He gets up and exits. Peeking out my window, I can clearly tell he knows where to go... Exactly where to go.

So... Dave is lying to me. But then again...

Why?

He has no reason to. If he's been here before, why wouldn't he have told me?

Once getting back into my office, Dave tells me that everything's working like perfectly.

"Great! Could you sit down real quick? I would like to ask you a quick question."

He nods and sits down in a relaxed position.

"How long have you been in hurricane?"

"About a week, why?"

"Oh no reason, one more, have you've ever been to Freddy's?"

"Only about twice."

How could a person who hasn't worked here, know where everything is... Especially because when I gave him the tour, I didn't give him the purpose of every room. Why would he be lying???

"Oh! So no, I haven't seen you before!" I chuckle, "I could've sworn you looked like someone I knew!"

"Nope! Lived in Washington all my life, tough things happened, and I ended up here."

"I'm not sure Hurricane will be much better. A lot of weird stuff does happen here at times. Heck, this pizzeria alone is haunted."

"Haunted?"

"If I tell you the story, you might leave."

"Never!" His smile doesn't leave his face through this whole conversation.

"There was this guy, William. He was smart, clever, horrible, disgusting, the list goes on. He used to work here, and at a place called Fredbears Family diner. When kids started to go missing, nobody suspected him, there's the clever part. Once I found out though, I shouldn't have told him. I should've just kept my mouth shut and told police."

"You found out? How?"

"Reasons that are not so comfortable to talk about. Anyways, this whole situation of me, being disgusted but being quiet for him, him, being able to get out of anything and still on his killing spree, and of course, the boss being clueless went on for a whole year. I hate him so much still. He might be gone but, the things he's done still weigh on me. The man even killed his own children."

"That's... Really tough. Were you close to them?"

"Very, to the point where I kind of thought of myself as a second mother. Knowing that William sucked at taking care of his own, I took care of them and, actually, I adopted one of them after he disappeared. I haven't talked about him for a long while."

"I'm sorry for bringing it up, it must have been traumatic."

"It's completely fine! We all have curiousity!" Difficult part is... I was sad when he disappeared.
