Chapter 30

We watch a couple of movies and it's dark outside now.

" JJ?" I hear Pope whisper.

" What?" JJ replies.

" I gotta take a piss." Pope tells him.

" Hold it." JJ responds.

" I can't hold it, I drank too much soda." Pope explains.

" It's too exposed, they'll totally see us." JJ says.

" I gotta go." Pope says.

They turn around for a second but then turn back.

" They're blocking the bathroom." Pope says.

JJ then unlaces our hands and starts to stand up.

" Come here. I know where." JJ says.

The boys start to walk away but Kie stops them.

" Where y'all going?" Kiara asks.

" We gotta wring it out." JJ explains.

" What are you gonna hold it for each other?" Kie asks as they walk away.

I watch as the boys go behind the screen.

After about a minute I see Rafe go behind the screen too.

" Oh, shit." I mumble to myself but I don't move because it's two against one. Then I see Topper and Kelce get up and go over to them.

" Fuck." I say, grabbing the switchblade out of my bag and putting my bag on my back, then I grab the gun out of JJ's bag and get up and walk over to them.

" Not so burly without a gun now, are you?" I hear Topper ask.

I put my bag down and put JJ's gun in my waistband before getting a good grip on my switchblade and making my presence known.

" Hello, boys." I say, making them all look at me, as I walk over to Pope and JJ.

Rafe steps toward me after a second.

" Take one more step and I'll rip that prepubescent face off." JJ warns, stepping up to Rafe.

" Hey, Pope, did you feel good stealing shit?" Topper asks, stepping toward Pope.

" I mean, is your mom proud of you? Is your dad?" Topper asks, taking another step.

Pope then head butts Topper.

" Attaboy!" JJ yells.

" With your fist, like this alright?" JJ tells Pope before swinging at Kelce, but Kelce tries to tackle JJ, but he fails and JJ kicks him in the stomach before pushing him back.

I don't wanna use the knife or gun, but if I need to, I will.

Topper then gets up and starts toward Pope but Pope punches him. While Pope is dealing with Topper, Kelce and Rafe start in on JJ.

Kelce is holding JJ's arms back and Rafe starts punching him.

I run over to Rafe and rip him off of JJ before punching him in the face, making him fall for a second.

JJ gets out of Kelce grip and starts punching him.

Rafe then gets up and kicks my legs making me fall, but I hold onto the knife, not letting it fall.

" You bitch!" I yell, then kick my leg out, making him trip as he walks toward me.

I kick him in the stomach while he's down and I go to kick him again but he catches my leg and pulls it, making me fall over him.
