Plot
Betty Cooper, the perfect girl until she runs away from her fiancé aka Archie Andrews on her wedding day and goes to Riverdale because she found out Archie was money laundering.

She meets Jughead after she steps in some bar. Bonds with him and says her name to Juliet Theodore, not Elizabeth Cooper. Hides her whole past to him 🤷‍♀️. 

Finds out she's in love with him after she sees him HALF naked and debates to tell him about her true self. While Jughead doesn't love her at first but falls in love later on because "Juliet" did something stupid and laughed. They start to avoid each other because of their feelings but then they confessed to each other at Pop's

Veronica sees, recognizes and calls Betty out because she was finding her new loubouton heels that got accidently sent to New York and took a detour at a restaurant. Betty gets exposed and avoids Jughead but eventually tells him about everything -well except the money laundering thing- Jug avoids her about a week cause she lied to him, in that week Betty mopes with her favorite romcoms and thinks that she'll never get the chance to be with him but Jughead calls her and says he forgives her

They actually become together meanwhile Veronica tells Archie about his "Fiancé" is in Riverdale over the phone because she can and Archie goes to Riverdale to get Betty back. He finds Jughead first and asks for a Elizabeth Cooper. Knowing that it was "Juliet's" real name, asks him who tf he is Archie says he's her fiancé and Jug kicks Arch out

Jug asks Betty about why did she leave Archie and Betty tells him about the money laundering. Jughead, being a gang leader, doubts about telling the police because well- the sheriff will have something to lock him up so he keeps this info from the authorities while the sheriff looks on over to a case wherein a shop -Archie's dumb-dumbie facial shop- is accused of fraud because he's using the fake facial shop as a cover to money launder

Archie isn't called about the shop because his Mom hid everything. Meanwhile Archie tries to convince Betty that Barchie is eNDgAME??? -is he gonna say that in the au? Yes- Betty totally disagrees 'cause she lovin' Juggie

While Bughead is going in strong af, Archie gives up and goes to wherever he lives but Veronica still tries to get Betty back and make Barchie eNDgAmE -she gon say that too- because Archie saved her from her bitch of a Father so she tries to make Archie happy and finds dirt about Jughead -Jug beat up a Person- that's what jug was talking about when he was doubting himself about going to the police-

Veronica "sAYs sOrRy" to Betty and tells her to meet at Pop's and tells her about the "Killings" that Jug did -He didn't actually do it, He pressured someone to do it btw he beat up Penny and Penny only- Betty didn't believe her first but she confronted Jughead about it -Just to be sure- and then Bughead = Argument. They break up and Betty runs to Veronica and Veronica makes Betty go to Archie's and forgives him, they get back together  become friends again

Jughead runs to Toni and catches up with her- has a one night stand and regrets it
-BECAUSE HE'S THE LOYAL ONE- and calls Betty non-stop.
"Betts, I know you're probably in someone else's arms by now but I know what I did was a mistake and I already took care of that, i just want you to know that i love you so much. Please come back" Them weepy waterworks-

He then runs to Betty and sees Archie getting comfortable with her and confronts Betty about it.
"Jug, I can't trust you if you're not gonna trust me with everything"
"You didn't trust me with anything at first"
"Because i thought you were a murderer-"
"I- he's committing a crime for God's sake!"
"You did too!"
"I was pressured, okay?! Someone blackmailed me to beat up someone. At least when i did something bad, it wasn't on purpose!"
"But everything else that's real with him felt-"
"Too good to be true? Because it is. Let me make it up to you."
"Okay-"
"Archie get out"

They make up and then Archie becomes angry and releases his anger to Veronica. Veronica becomes less determined because Archie is angry with her for no reason at all
to "make Barchie endgame" that she even gives up and believes that he's gonna find love again, just not with Betty.

Archie gets so angry that he hits someone and dies in a car crash
Betty then hears about the news and collapses into Jug's arms

"Oh my god, he's dead"
"Aren't you kinda happy? Now you can tell the police about the money laundering."
"Wait- did you take part of his shop?"
"To be honest, he would never let me go in. I forgot what it looks like but that's not the point, Jug. HE'S DEAD!"
"I know that he was the bad guy but at some point, i loved him"
"You didn't know he was a criminal though"

Betty gets a phone call to identify Archie and then she calls Veronica to come with her

Because Betty is sad, Jughead plans a romantic trip to Paris and a proposal
He tells the plan to Paris to Betty and then with a little snooping she sees the ring

"Jug?"
"Yeah-"
"Is this what I think it is?"
"Did I ruin the surprise? I mean I really wanted to  was know what would you do, go up to the Eifel? tower and"
"Well i was hoping more of a dinner surprise but the Far from home reference could be good"
"Will you marry me?"
"Yes!!!!"

They enjoy the rest of the trip in ecstasy -😏😏😏- and when they come back, they tell their friends -including Veronica- about it. Veronica becomes angry because they're happy when Archie died so she tries to ruin it but Betty talks her down and she calms down.

Bughead get married.
