I hope you enjoy this Chapter! I had this chapter all planned out, but I wasn't sure how to word it, so it's quite short.

Happy reading! :  )

Percy

I rushed forward.

"Annabeth!" I yelled. I pulled her arm around my shoulder and dragged her towards the couch, which I gingerly sat her down on it. Paul knelt by my side holding a square of ambrosia. Annabeth took it and smiled,

"Thanks," she said. Carefully, I studied the gash on her right arm. It was pretty deep.

"Are you okay?" I asked. She laughed weakly,

"I'm fine, Seaweed Brain," She replied.

"What happened?" Sally asked, trepidation lacing her voice.

"I was just about to come into the building, and then a hellhound came at me," Annabeth said before she yawned.

She was so cute when she did that, I thought,

"I'll leave you two alone," My mum said, smiling. She and Paul left and walked into the kitchen.

"Annabeth, what are you doing here?" I asked, thoroughly confused,

"Do you not want me to be?"

"No! It's not that-" I looked up at her and saw that she was grinning at me, trying not to laugh. I returned it and she said,

"I'm attending Goode with you. After you left, I went to talk to Chion and he said could," I beamed at her. How was she this great.

Then she winced. I looked at her shoulder and realised that there was a long scar there that displayed how big the gash had been.

"Are you okay?" Stupid question! Of course she wasn't okay, "Sorry, that was a dumb question," Annabeth flashed me a small smile,

"It's always a dumb question when you ask it Percy," I laughed and playfully punched her in the shoulder and she gasped and sat up,

"I'm so sorry," I spluttered. She rolled her eyes and laughed at me.

"When did you fly in?" I asked as I sat opposite her on the sofa.

"Yesterday, but I spent last night at a hotel on Aphrodite's request," I swear that goddess was always poking her nose into our relationship.

"Are you staying there again tonight?" I asked, a note of hope in my voice. I didn't want Annabeth to stay at the hotel. On the contrary, I wanted her to say with me.

"Well... your mum invited me to stay here, but I don't want to intrude," She said, colour slowly rising to her cheeks,

"You're not intruding, honey," Called my mum from the kitchen. I face palmed,

"Sally," I heard Paul say, "Now they know we were listening!" This time, it was my turn to blush.

"Offer her something to drink!" hissed my mum from the kitchen. My cheeks got hotter.

"Would you like a drink?" I mumbled. Annabeth stifled a laugh,

"I'm good, Percy," She said. I smiled at her and she smiled back and at that moment, it was like nothing else mattered...

And then someone knocked on the door. I sighed,

"I got it," I said and I got up from the couch and trudged over to the door.
