M&M actually stands for Mars and Murrie. Forrest Mars and Bruce Murrie were the two who created the candy. Mars ended up buying out 20% of Murrie's shares in the business years before M&M's took off. They're now owned by the Mars family who is also famous for Mars bars, Twix, Snickers, Milky Way etc.
Mars also owns a verity of pet care products. I work at Pet Smart and my manager pointed it out to be a while ago. Brands like Hagen, Iams, Pedigree, Ceasers, Greenies, Eukanuba, Nutro, and more.
This is my own personal PSA that you shouldn't feed your dogs grocery store foods like those because it's honestly what we call McDonalds foods and if you buy especially Pedigree, Ceasers or Iams I will guarantee everyone will make fun of you behind your back because they're fucking shit and a half. Do research on a good quality dog food. Avoid anything that uses the word 'meal' in their ingredients. THIS SHIT AIN'T HEALTHY you gonna be giving your dog diabetes, Linda.
