Natsu's POV
I really want to talk to her. I've never felt this way for any girl before. I've tried so hard to push these feelings away for so long because I had other things to prioritize and focus on. But no matter what I do, my mind and heart go back to her.
I never understood it at all. I thought I wasn't capable of...liking someone... I used to think all that couple and lovey-dovey shit was gross. But here I am.
We watched the magic show without saying much to each other. I tried to pretend I was amazed by everything when in reality, I thought it was all lame. The fire tricks were nothing compared to what I can do. I just don't want any tension between me and Y/N. I acted so weird and she must think something's off. I don't want to ruin our friendship. She means so much to me.
"I'm a way better ice wizard than this." she smirked. I chuckled and nodded, agreeing with her. "I wanna try that ice cream sundae we saw at that one stand we passed by earlier."
"Let's ditch this place." I said. I got up and stretched really quickly. I looked at her and smiled. I extended my hand out to help her get out of her seat. They were pretty uncomfortable. She looked a little shy but grabbed my hand and followed me out of the tent. We began heading to the dessert stand that had a new sundae on their menu. I tried very hard not to blush when I noticed we were still holding hands. I'll act like I don't notice it. It felt nice.
