"guess who's home!" i yell in a singy-song voice as i open the door and place my bags on the floor

"y/n, you don't have to announce whe-merlins beard where did all your hair go" moony asked stepping out of the kitchen

"well you see, i was out with hermione and her mum, and her mum needed a haircut so we went to this muggle place called a salon, and i wanted one too so i got on. do you like it?" i ask giving a spin and posing

"yes, you look very pretty y/n" he laughs walking back into the kitchen, i follow to see what he's making

"so what's in all those bags you brought?" he questioned while focusing on the bowl in front of him

"clothes, we went to a mall, it has like, so many stores, in one building! these muggles are very interesting"

he laughs "you should talk to arthur about what you girls did, he's fascinated with muggles, just like you. who knows maybe you should work in the muggle department, he works there too y'know" he looks up from his work "speaking of arthur, pack your stuff, we're going somewhere tomorrow morning"

"may i ask where we are going" i raise an eyebrow

"12 grimmauld place. the order has been staying there. the weasleys will be there along with hermione and sirius"

"will harry be there"

"yes but not till later that evening, moody and a few others will be picking him up" he places a tray full of whatever he was mixing into the oven

"i'll be ready tomorrow, also can i have a few of whatever those are" i point to the oven

"those are cookies. and no. i'm bringing them for the order"

"fine whatever, night moony" i smile

"sweet dreams y/n" he smiles before i exit the kitchen and make my way up to my room.

(the next day)

i woke up to the smell of breakfast. i make my way to the bathroom and brush my teeth. i change into sweats and a hoodie and then head down to the kitchen. i see a stack a remus's signature pancakes, bacon, eggs and blueberry muffins. which only means one thing, he wants to talk about something.

"good morning y/n, i made breakfast, take what you'd like" he smiles placing the last few pancakes on the stack

"morning moony" i say filling my plate with the food he made

"i'm just going to spit it out cause if i don't now, i won't ever. as you know, your birthday is in a few weeks and you'll be fifteen, so i wanted to ask if you'd like to know who your parents are. you're getting older so i just want to ask, no rush though." he said as he sat in front of me

i was expecting a topic but not this topic

"i-i don't know. i don't think i'm ready yet, or if i'll ever be ready, i like what we have. i've been with you my whole life and i don't know if i want to let that go, if they're alive, if not i guess it doesn't change much. but still, i don't wanna know yet" i say back holding back tears

"y/n, your parents are still alive and it's be completely up to you if you'd want to go with them or stay here. there'll be no hard feelings for what you want-" he grabs my hand "and even if you do want to go with them, our bond won't change, you know i love you too much to completely be out of your life"

at this point i start bawling. part of me wants to know who they are but like i don't. they gave me to remus for a reason. i don't know.

"come here" he stands up and pulls me into a hug "i love you y/n, always"

"i love you too moony"

we stand there for a few in comfortable silence. until he breaks the hug "we best get going now, i'll go get your bags from upstairs, can you go fetch two brooms from the closet" i nod and he kissed the top of my head before heading upstairs

i got two brooms from the closet and headed to the front of the house to wait for remus. soon he came out the the front, we mounted the brooms and started our way there. i wasn't a big fan of riding brooms but when i did, i loved it, i felt free and like all my troubles were gone

"we'll be there soon, follow my lead" he shouts

i slow my broom and lowered myself in front of some muggle buildings. i start admiring the scenery, the wizarding world doesn't look anything like this. my attention gets brought back to the building that was in front of us, it's now moving

a new building was appearing between the other two

"and they don't feel it? the muggles?" i ask and remus shakes his head no

a new building appeared and moony walks to the front door holding it open, i step in and meet a long hallway, i head towards the room where there's light but get stopped by molly

"oh you must be y/n" she pulls me into a hug "the boys have told me all about you, there's currently something going on but ron and hermione are upstairs, dinner will be done shortly"

"thank you mrs weasley" i nod and head upstairs, i open the first door and see ron and hermione, bickering like always

"bloody hell y/n why is your hair so short" he asks doing a full 360 around me

"i got it done, with hermiones mum, at some place called a salon"

"i think you look lovely" hermione gets up greeting me in a hug

before i could say anything the twins appear on the bed

"we thought we heard our favorite slytherin" fred starts

"think you could slip in without saying hi" george finishes as they both greet me in a hug they like to call a "weasley sandwich"

"as much as i love you both i cant breath" i let out before they let go "anyways, wheres harry, moony said he would be here

"well you see, there's been a slight delay"  hermione let's out

"why do i feel like there's something you lot aren't telling me" i scan the room

"he'll bring it up tomorrow" ron says quickly

"you all suck" i pick up a pillow and launch it at ron

"oh it's on" he throws one back but misses and accidentally hits hermione

it turns into a full blown pillow fight, oh how i missed these idiots

this chapter it kinda a filler on remus and y/n's relationship and leading into the next chapter. sorry this kinda sucks lol
