a bright red bus was heading towards us. we were in the middle of the street. i froze to my spot, if it wasn't for ron pulling me back, i probably would've gotten hit. we quickly snapped back into reality and started down the side walk
"muggle world?" ron asked, hermione nodded. i looked around, i've been to the muggle world a few times with remus and hermione one summer, but not here, this place doesn't look familiar. theres a bunch of lights, buildings and people, everywhere
"where are we?" i questioned
"shaftesbury avenue. i used to come to the theater here all the time with my mum and dad. i don't know why i thought of it, it just popped up in my head and now we're here" hermione pushed through the crown of people into a dark alley "we need to change" she pulled out a very small bag
she dug her hand into the bag, and it went way farther than you'd think. she put an enchantment on it, she's so smart
"how in the-" ron started before getting cut off by hermione
"undetectable extension charm"
"you're amazing, you are"
"always the surprised tone" hermione grinned
"as much as i love the flirting, we have things to do, we need to get moving, save it for later" i smiled at the two
a tumbling sound from the bag echoed "that'll be the books" hermione mentioned
she handed me a pair of black skinny jeans and a grey sweater. we all changed and head down to find somewhere to sit. hermione suggested a small coffee shop at the corner
"the people at the wedding, should we go back?" harry asked
"they were after you mate, if we go back, we'd be putting everyone in danger" ron answered
"ron's right" i leaned my head on harry's shoulder. after everything that happened, leaving moony is whats hitting me the most
"coffee?" the waitress asked as she approached the table
"a cappuccino please" hermione answered
ron looked totally confused "what she said"
"black coffee please" i answered
"same as them" he tilted his head towards me. the waitress nodded and walked to the back
"so where do we go now?" ron let out a sigh
"uh the leaky cauldron?" i suggested
"too risky, if voldemort really took over the ministry, then none of those places are safe. everyone from the wedding will have gone underground, into hiding" hermione explained
