The Life of an Average Student.

another sleepless night.

i stare at my wall as im laying on my sides cuddling with the hoodie of May. my eyes crusty from crying. and my earphones blasting music. my parents are arguing and im ignoring it. 

Then my phone lights up. a message? at 3AM? from who would it be. I reach to my phone light pain from my sides reminds me of this evening. I open snapchat and see its from may?! I open the message. A selfie with my necklace. 'You forgot something <3' she typed with it. I open my camera but as soon as my selfie camera opens I get reminded op my crusty eyes and the bruise above my eyebrow. 

I take a picture of the ceiling instead. 'Damn, I guess I have to come and get it someday' I hesitate a moment but still send it. Not even a few minutes went by or she replied already. 'Yes u do. also why are'nt u sleeping silly. its late!' a smile appears on my face. does she really care? I take another picture of the wall, 'Couldn't sleep. ur awake too!' 

'show me your face cutie I don't believe u look bad cuz ur tired.' she sends after a while. I get scared.. and now? ... I try to cover the bruise with a filter and whipped my eyes dry. 'See I look like a zombie' I type.  'No ur cute. I could've seen it wrong but is there a bruise on ur head?' She asks with a sad emoji. I hesitate to awnser.. 'y-yeh but its not a big deal. please don't worry.' I type it took a while for her to reply. 'okay, I hope ur okay. u can tell me if stings wrong. even if it was cuz u ran into a door.' I giggle a little and I smile. 'thanks <3' I reply.
