chen's pov:

"Ash wants to get back together again." Julian sighs. "Why did you break up this time?" I pierced my lips together, crossing my arms over my chest.

They've been breaking up and making up since I woke up from my coma. They outgrew each other and decided to stay friends, then kept hooking up and catching feelings again, so they got back together and then broke up again because of their differences. It just kept repeating.

"He's too lazy." She fiddled with her fingers anxiously, looking down at them. "I don't know what to tell you, Juli... I give you the same advice every single time, but you never listen. So I'll just hear you out and comfort you... 'cause I honestly don't know what you want me to say or do to this repeated information anymore." I shrugged. "I'm thinking about couples therapy." She huffs, rubbing her forehead. "You should go for it."

"So what's up?" Juli asks. "Nothing?" I said confused. "Ocean told me." She shows me the texts between her and Ocean. "Oh my fucking god, this girl." I roll my eyes, reading the texts of my business being aired out. "She's just worried about her mother, be grateful you have a thoughtful daughter. What's wrong though?" Her features change and she looked at me, more concerned this time.

"Billie's performing at the olympics, probably with her boyfriend." I sighed. "And you're married with a CHILD." Juli reminds me. "Oh please, You know I never really got over her...", "Chen, it's been 6 years..." She shakes her head. "I know." I whined.

"I love Andrew, but not as much as I love her and he probably knows that. I feel like such a bad person. It feels like I'm constantly cheating on him emotionally." I say frustratedly. "And Ocean wants me to go with her to LA 'cause she wants to see Billie perform. She's taking her girlfriend with her. I won't be surprised if she asks me for concert tickets since Billie will be on tour. And I have to go with her because she's not 15, they won't let her in without a parent."

"Will you be able to handle it?" "I don't know? I'm so scared of Billie seeing me." I freak out internally. "Maybe she'll fall in love with you again." She says. "But she's engaged... and I'm married! stop feeding my delusions." I clap my hands together. "She said she'll never get over you, so there isn't an 'again', really. There's a slight chance that her love didn't change." Juli added, smiling. "I never understood why you're so against me being with Andrew." I rolled my eyes.

"I just don't like the man. You guys aren't right for each other. Yeah, he treats you good and is a good father, but he doesn't seem like the perfect man... there's something off about him and I can't place my finger on it. Just believe me when I say this Chen, Billie is the one for you not him. It'll never be him and you know it. Stop lying to yourself."
"You do not get to call me out like that in my house." I whisper yelled.

She knows me so well. I couldn't help but guiltily smile at her words. And I hate to agree with every single word she said. I don't fully trust Andrew. I never really trust anyone, but hey, at least he stayed and waited for me to wake up from my coma.

"Do you even know who her boyfriend is?" I asked, raising an eyebrow. I felt slightly jealous and irritated at my own question. "No, let's search it up."
"Ms. Gurl, who is Billie Eilish's fiancé?" I asked my Alexa. "Billie Eilish's fiancé is Jesse James Rutherford (born August 21, 1991) is an American singer, songwriter, and former actor. He is the co-founder and lead vocalist of the alternative rock band the Neighbourhood and hardcore band Valley Girl. Do you want me to read more?" The smart device replies. "No, display a picture of Billie Eilish and Jesse Rutherford on the TV." I spoke hesitantly, then looked over at Julian, worried about what I was doing.

"I still can't get over you naming your Alexa Ms. Gurl." Juli laughs. The picture pops up. And I feel my stomach twist and turn. The way she was looking at him...
