We arrive and Ocean walks out of the house, kissing Sofia and then running to the car. "They're so cute." I look at Chen. "I know." She says coldly.

Ocean got into the backseat. "Hi, mommy. Hi, auntie- BILLIE?!" She quickly leaned forward. "What are you doing here?!" Ocean starts freaking out.

"Didn't I tell u that she was an old friend?" Her mom looks at her. "No fucking way- Hold on." She left the car and ran back to Sofia's front door, knocking on it hard and ringing the bell until Sofia came out.

She dragged her to the car and when Sofia saw me she freaked out too.

-Time Skip-

"Thanks for the ride, Chen." I shut the car's door and walk to the hotel's gate.

She watched me enter and left when I did.

God, I miss her so much.

I went up to my room and opened the door, walking into the suite, "How did it go?" I hear a deep voice behind me. I jumped, snapping out of my daydream.

"Bro, what the fuck? You scared the shit outta me I think I peed a little. I thought you left already." I say, holding my crotch.

He laughs and gets up from the armchair. "Sorry." Jesse says. "I just wanted to clear the air before leaving. I want us to be friends, like we were before we dated, because you mean a lot to me and I can't afford to lose you." He said. I nodded and smiled, "Of course." I said. He smiled and hugged me. I hugged him back then he pulled away shortly after. He went and grabbed his bag. "Bye, see you later." He says. "Bye." I said.

After he left I went to the bathroom and washed my face, then ran a shower. After I got all ready and clean I called Finneas to come to my room.

"That's amazing. I'm happy that it kinda went well. I'm happy for you." He smiled at me. "Thank you, I'm happy too. If it weren't for you then I wouldn't have went to see her today." I leaned over and hugged him, he hugged me back. "So y'all are good now?" He asks, rubbing my back.

"I think she's still in love with me, and so am I. what does that tell you?" I smirk, pulling away from the hug. "Well, it wouldn't mean anything if she didn't give you any signs. If you actually want her you have to try harder, but please don't crash her wedding, that's too much publicity and too much attention." Finneas says.

"But, Finneas, that's perfect! It would be a perfect way of me getting her back-" "Stop, just stop. This isn't gossip girl, she's not gonna leave her fiancé on her wedding day for you, Billie. Let's be real."
"You're just a hater, bruh." I crossed my arms.

chen's pov:

"Billie Eilish Caught Reconnecting with Engaged Ex-Girlfriend, Chanel Gates, in Intimate Cafe Rendezvous!" I read the title then pressed on the article to read more.

Andrew, I promise that all I want is you now..." I said, putting the iPad down and holding his hands. He hesitantly gave my hand a gentle squeeze and sighed. "Then why were you crying with her? Why was she holding your face like that?" He asked, jealousy and sadness could be heard in his voice.

My eyes glossed. "She was apologizing about what she did... We had a really deep conversation; a conversation I've been wanting to have since the incident. Andrew, don't forget that she was the one who found me with my throat cut open, I was bleeding in her arms..." I teared up as I remembered. He sighed and hugged me.

"Promise that this won't get between us?" He says. "I promise, baby." I hugged him back and sniffled. After a few moments I pull away and take a deep breath, sitting down on the couch.

My phone rings and I answer without looking at the caller ID. "Give me a sec." I told Andrew and walked out of the living room into the kitchen. "Hello?" I said. "Have you seen the articles and twitter?! Chen, we're trending in the US right now! I have two fucking trending hashtags in my name!!" Billie asked, freaked out.

"Where the fuck did you get my number from?" I asked angrily. "Chen, there's bigger things that are going on right now, focus!" Billie scolds. I mean, she has a point, but the way she got my number mysteriously, somewhat scares me and annoys me at the same time... I'm lying it's hot.

I put her on speaker and put the phone down on the counter. "Yeah, you're right... I don't know if we should say something-", "People will need to hear both of our sides... you're getting married soon, this might affect your marriage. My career is at risk, I'm literally getting accused of being a home wrecker, they wanna cancel me! And my team suggested that we should go live together and talk about everything. They said it's for the better." She says.

"What do you mean they wanna cancel you?" I ask with a confused facial expression even tho she couldn't see me. "They're slut-shaming both of us, they think that we're cheating on our- your man, and my ex-boyfriend. But there are also people shipping and supporting us." She says, I could hear the slight hope in her tone at the last sentence and I smiled to myself.

"I- that's so fucked up... Yeah, I think we should go live together." I give in, agreeing. "I'll send you the location right now. See you later." I hang up before she says anything else.
