Hair tainted in the metallic red lusture.

His tongue clicked, eyes wavering as his face scrunched up the tiniest bit.

Be it from shock or some unknown satisfaction after solving a riddle.

One couldn't tell.

His deep eyes gazed sharply at the woman in his hold.

While Karin could do nothing but struggle

"Now... " He hissed.

Placing his Kunai just inches away from her pale throat.
Threatening to thrust the blade deep down in a matter of seconds.

"Speak." He commanded.

Once again. His cold voice sent shivers down her body.

'Who...Who the hell is he?!'

She struggled under his grasp only to fail each time.

How did she ended up like this anyway?

If anything , this day was just another normal one.

Nothing special or weird. She just happened to pass by the forests heading straight to Orochimaru's hideout.

Returning from the hidden leaf village, she had a lot to report in to the snake man.

She took a break to rest near a river.

She groaned in frustration. Sensing suspicious chakra following her all the way the moment she entered the flora.

It was already night time and she was getting late.

The women purposely changed her route to divert the intruder.

Stopping near the waterfall she hid behind one of her usual hiding spots.
She always prepared herself for situations like these.

It wasn't the first time someone tried to follow her to get the infamous hideout anyways.

She maintained enough distance from a nearby tree, tricking the person with a shadow clone that disappeared the moment the water droplets touched its skin.

'Now.. '

She breathed out, eyes gazing sharply at the scene.

'Come out so I can get rid of you. '

And to her wonder , a person did came out wandering into the grassy field near the waterfall.

He wasn't much tall. Might even be the same height at her.

His face was completely covered under a black hood.

She smirked at her victory, preparing to strike.

She readied her poisoned dart before setting her aim.

'Huh.. Just a young boy.'

She sucked in her breath as her lips folded over the other end of the dart launcher.
