Tiffany was in a lot of hot water. Her parents grounded her for lying, and staying out late, past curfew. She lied about being held hostage at a mini mart with her friend, Camilla. She had to lie, because she was really at Camilla's house, when she was supposed to be home. She got car keys taken away, and her phone privileges.
Her parents lost their trust in her. She was an irresponsible teen. She also been getting poor grades in school, and being sent to the principal's office, for telling her English teacher to shut up.
Tiffany truly regretted her actions. She would be turning 17 in two months, but one thing was for sure.
She had a lot of growing up to do.
