History: A rather new school to the Shensha-do Federation, Izvestia has a rather long history of revolutions and counter-revolutions, though the official statements from the Board overseeing the school has stated that the activities are there to strengthen the women involved.
However, the turmoil from the internal conflicts have prevented any semblance of a unified team to form. The factions that often end up fighting are the Red Guards, a communistic force, the White Guards, an authoritarian/royalistic force, and the United Front, a coalition of Democratic minded forces. However, the Red Guards have seized control and instituted several organizations to try to keep the other factions in line, but lacked true leadership, having ruled with by committee.
