36) Affection In Front Of The Boys

Whenever you show your man affection in front of the gang and how people react:

PONYBOY~ If Ponyboy hadn't told his brothers that the two of you were dating, absolutely no one from the gang would know. Not Darry. Not Sodapop. No one. As far as they know, you and Pony are just really good friends. However, the whole image goes out the window one day when the two of you fell asleep in his bed cuddling, on a rainy day. The boys came over and when you woke up, they wouldn't stop with the teasing

SODAPOP~ Whenever the two of you hang out just the two of you, Sodapop is always wrapped around you in every way possible. When the gang comes over, Sodapop moves so that only his arm is around you. It isn't the biggest switch, but the only reason is because even if the two of you are cuddled up, Steve always wiggles his way in between you. Overall, Soda likes giving you attention no matter who's around

DARRY~ Darry tries not to show too much lovey dovey affection in front of his brothers and the rest of the gang. He's more of a private person, and typically only holds your hand or lifts you onto his shoulders when the two of you are walking around. Ponyboy and Sodapop hate seeing you and Darry kiss, so he reserves that for when the house is empty or for night time

DALLY~ Dally is iffy about affection in front on the gang. On one hand, he doesn't like to appear weak, as he likes to say. On the other hand, Dally wants to prove to everyone that you're his. He'll get very protective to the point of practically climbing on top of you (not literally). Dally doesn't see any of the boys as a threat to your relationship, so he typically lays off on the kissing and touching when the eight of you are hanging out

TWO-BIT~ Two-But really doesn't care who's around. If he wants to pick up up and carry you, he picks you up and carries you. If he wants to lie on top of you, he lies on top of you. If he wants to kiss you, he'll kiss you. Sometimes, the boys find it a little much, but they see how happy the two of you make eachother, so they suffer through it together

STEVE~ Though Steve is a very touchy person who's love language is definatly touch, he doesn't really show you too much affection towards you when you're with the gang. He sees that time as time to hang out with his friends. The exact opposite is true when you two are on dates. He sees that time as time to show you how much he loves you and won't be very ammused if someone like Dally or Two-Bit shows up to hang out

JOHNNY~ Since Johnny gets babied by almost everyone, Johnny always shows you some form of affection, just to prove that he's sixteen and not twelve. Occasionally, when the babying gets a little two much, Johnny'll give you a small kiss on the cheek, but he usually just holds your hand or pulls you onto his lap
