Turns out.. If you cry yourself to sleep two nights in a row.. You wake up with a sore throat and a stuffy nose. My eyes were crusty and gross. I groaned as I woke up to Pabu licking my face.

Sweet boy.

I got up and looked at the clock... Hmm.. it was pretty late.. I'm shocked Nan isn't here yet.. It's already like.. 10 am..

I got dressed. Nothing special. Simple clothes. I had no intention of leaving today, I could just get some work done, maybe chill in the shop and deep clean..

That's always a great distraction.

I used the little cloth Nan had given me from Omashu as a headband, not caring to actually fuss about with my hair. I headed down to the shop after making a simple cup of tea. So little effort that I was really thankful that we made all of the teabags.

When I got down there I saw Fae looking for something while holding the flowers from Bolin.. Oh.. he probably needs a vase or something!

"Morning loverboy... whatcha up to..?" I asked as I yawned.

"Umm... Do you have like... a spare vase?" he held the bouquet up for me to see and I nodded.. I knew exactly what one too~.

"Yeup.. but you are looking in the wrong spot. If you'll follow me~" I led him to the back of the shop. I kept a lot of the stuff I used under the stairs. I pulled out a box from the back... I don't think nan would oppose using one this nice for these flowers... heheh... Yay.

Opening the box showed a vase Nan had gotten from one of her many trips. It was a light blue porcelain vase that had white flowers on it. It would match the pink lilies perfectly and is something I have been saving. I giggled excitedly as I held it up for Fae to see it.

"Where did you get that?".. Hmmm..

I held my chin as I thought.. Where did Nan get this one again...?

"I thiiiink it's from some relic shop in the southern Earth Kingdom.. She theorized it came from the air nomads honestly. We have no actual Idea though. Nan picks up stuff from all over the world."

"It's really nice... Are you sure?" I nodded excitedly. I placed it on a box before putting some water and minerals in the vase from the small utility sink that was back here. I carefully took the flowers from the boy and set them up in the vase. They fit perfectly and I just smiled as I handed the vase back to him.

" That happened so quick..." was he referring to me setting up the flowers..?

"I do this for a living.. I have mastered my craft~...... mostly..." I laughed.

"I can see that... Thank you... again."

" Don't thank meeee~ I like seeing people happy about the flowers I grow.. This is my life.." I laughed as I whined.. I didn't know what I'd do without this place.

"I kind of do have to thank you," Fae laughed. " If it wasn't for you I'd be screwed."

I shrugged.. "I guess we both owe a lot to nan then.. This is her shop.~" I laughed. It was true... If Nan hadn't taken me in and become a mentor.. Who knows what would have happened. No doubt I wouldn't know Fae at all..

"I knew you before her, and you agreed to take me in. You could have easily just kicked me out and been done with me." Meh.. I guess.... Nope.. I would have been a hypocrite to turn someone away like that who had nowhere to go.
