Testosterone Overload

The look of awe on Fae's face is everything right now. We were standing at the entrance of the building but not exactly in front. We could see the massive amount of people on line to purchase tickets as we walked towards the door. Pabu should come running soon.
"Why is this necessary for a sport? A giant dome looking building just for people to bend at each other...?" He has a point. It's something I've wondered about since I got to republic city years ago.
"People love to worship bending athletes.. I don't really get it but a lot of people say that there is some kind of unity here between all different types of people. I have a personal theory that It's so the boss man can get extra money by appearing super fancy.. But that's just me. But yeah. The architecture is beautiful and stunning.. But unnecessary"
"It's... Nothing I can think of can describe how unnecessary it is, but no matter what this is only for the boys... I only have to go to one of these right?" I laughed. Oh that is precious. He thinks he only has to come once.
"Listen..... You will be dragged to these as long as you know Bolin.. These matches happen two or sometimes even three times a week. But as long as you are my "bodyguard" you will only need to go to one a week." I said with the appropriate quotations. At least we are on the same page with pro bending. But he hasn't even seen a match. "Who knows. You may enjoy it.."
"Oh god as soon as this bodyguard business is over... I'm so screwed... and I don't know I practiced bending to defend myself and help others not... Have a chance at badly injuring someone." Yeah..
"Yeahh.. These matches are too violent at least in my opinion. It's probably why I'm not too keen on the sport, and based off of what I've seen.... Once you aren't stuck with me Bolin might kidnap you every chance he gets." I paused as more people walked passed us to head inside. "You two seemed to hit it off despite everything though."
"Oh uh... Yeah I guess... Why don't we go inside?" I looked at him curiously.. But before I could say anything I noticed an adorable little face running at us.
"Okay.. Come on. We follow Pabu. He's our little ticket in." I started walking around the line of people and motioned for Fae to follow me.
"Is that really okay to do?"
I nodded as we walked in the door. "Yeah we aren't sitting in seats we have to pay for." I waved to the man at the ticket counter as we walked inside "Hey Dave!"
Dave looked at the two of us before shaking his head.. "Who's he? Bad enough the rookies bring you in but someone else too?" Fucking damnit Dave... there went the last shit that I ever gave....
I sighed. "Bolin already talked to Butakha! He said it's fine as long as we are not taking up any of the paid seats. Listen we go through this every week Dave.. Pabu has our passes." The sassy little cutie waved the little notes in front of the man. Fae just looked kinda awkward. I mean I did just tell him it's okay then this guy counteracts that.. Yikes.
"So much for it being okay??" I shrugged
"Meh. Dave has no actual authority over us. And the actual Security is really nice and sometimes I bring some snacks so they always side with me over him. C'mon." I motioned for him to follow me as Dave called out angry at us. Pabu sat himself on my shoulder to enjoy the ride back to the room. I just lead Fae towards the back stairs away from public access.
"I wonder if that Hassook guy is going to show up..." I looked back at him as he was in thought...
"Oh I hope so.. Or Mako might explode..." I mumbled as we reached the floor we needed. We started walking down the hallway as Pabu jumped down and started running on his own.
