Happy reading!

"NO!" The shout could practically be heard from all over camp.

"I am not going on another quest!" Percy yelled

Let me recap.

"Percy, they need you at the big house," Travis said. His eyes were wide. Percy and Annabeth shared a look and, in unison, they began to sprint up to the Big house. Quickly I followed, although they were hard to keep up with.

When I reached the big house, they were already inside. Not wanting to be seen, I ducked under a window that was conveniently open a crack. I didn't catch the whole conversation, but I managed to understand what was going on,

"Percy, I'm afraid that there is no choice-"

"There is  a choice! I'm not going!" Percy interupted,

"Percy-"

"At least let me go too!" Annabeth pleaded. From my hiding spot, I saw Chiron purse his lips.

Suddenly, the door burst open, and three people stood in the doorway. One of them had blonde hair and electric blue eyes that were hidden behind glasses.

Next to him, was a very pretty girl with deep brown hair and ever-changing eyes. Finally, there was a boy, a little smaller than the other two. He looked like a Latino and had curly brown hair. In his hand, he held a box of breath mints,

"What's going- what?" Said the Latino.

"Nothing," Muttered Percy.

"Percy has been assigned a quest,"

"When do you leave?" Said the pretty girl to Percy,

"I'm not leaving," Her snapped, and stared at Chiron, who kept a calm composure while he stared back.

"He leaves as soon as possible," Chiron said - although it was more of a command. Percy seemed to deflate a little.

He mumbled something about packing and stormed out of the Big house, shoving past the Latino as he did. Annabeth glared at Chiron and stormed after Percy, wiping her eyes furiously,

"What was that all about?" said the blonde,

"What do you think, Jason?" Said the pretty girl. The boy called Jason looked at her and shrugged. The girl sighed,

"Everytime things seem to be going right for those two, something goes wrong," She told them. Jason and the Latino shared a confused look,

"Come again Piper?" He said. Piper rolled her eyes,

"Well, first of all, Percy was oblivious about his feelings for four years, and then they got together and he was taken away by Hera. And then they were together and Annabeth had to leave on a solo quest, and then... you know... that fall and the war and stuff," She whispered the last part as if afraid that anyone would over hear,

"And now they together and he has to leave again," Jason finished. Piper nodded. What were they talking about? Fall? War? Solo quest? Then it clicked. Percy and Annabeth weren't brother and sister (Took you long enough).

I'd heard enough. I got up and began to sprint back down the hill. Since Percy was super protective over her, maybe now that he was leaving, I could finally ask Annabeth out.

Part 3 coming! I know that this was short, but I wrote chapter 2 and then cut it into two chapters to be mean!
