Disclaimer: I do not own PJO or HoO

Also, to clarify, I got the children ideas from a headcannon,

Selina Grace Jackson - Age 4

Luke Robert Jackson  &  Charlie Ethan Jackson - Age 3

Zoe Bianca Jackson - Age 1

"Don't worry! They're in great hands!" Said Leo as he shoved us out of the door.

I was worried. Percy and I just wanted a night out, and Leo had asked to babysit. I wasn't too pleased, but Percy got there first and said that he could.

That night, when the doorbell rang, I opened it to Leo...

And Jason and Piper and Hazel and Frank and Thalia and Nico.

"Umm... What's going on?" I asked. Leo shrugged,

"I called for reinforcements," My eyes widened,

"It's four under fours, not an army!" I gaped. Thalia smirked,

"I'd think twice before you say that about those monsters," She said. I glared her,  "Umm... Never mind," She muttered.

At that moment, Percy came down the hall,

"Hey guys," He said. Leo smiled and pushed past us into the house, everyone else following pursuit.

"Don't worry! They're in great hands!" He said, as he shoved us out of the door.

"Dinner was great," I said, "Thank you," Percy looked down at me and smiled. I rose up onto my tiptoes and kissed him softly. I didn't want to, but eventually, I pulled away.

We walked up the path that lead to our house.

I rang the doorbell nervously. I didn't know what I was going to expect. Piper answered the door a crack. When she saw us her eyes widened in surprise. She cleared her throat,

"Hey, guys, didn't you wanna take a ten minute walk?" She asked. I heard another voice from inside and she said, "I mean, twenty minute walk?" I thought about it... did I?

"Yep! We sure do!" Percy agreed. I was still thinking. Something felt off. I pushed it to the back of my mind, grabbed Percy's had and walked back down the steps.

Leo's POV:

Things were a mess. Calling for reinforcements was a bust. No one even helped. Ish. At first everything was okay. We played mythomagic with Selina, Charlie and Luke while Piper held Zoe.

And then it all went wrong,

"LUKE! You can't cheat!" Yelled Selina. She obviously picked up her mother competitive spirit. Luke stuck his tongue out at her,

"I'm not cheating!" He shouted back. Zoe started to wail,

"It's okay, Zoe," Piper assured her. This just made her cry even more.

"LUKE!" Yelled Selina,

"Selina, I think-" Began Jason,

"Shut up, Sparky," She responded. Jason scowled, and we all burst out laughing. Zoe wept,

"Okay, let's just restart the game," I suggested. Charlie looked up at me with his big sea green eyes,

"Mummy said that's for losers," He said quietly. I grimaced. 3 year old's should not be this hard.

"Zoe, go to sleep," Urged Piper. Zoe stopped crying, and beside me, Thalia started to snore,

"Not you, Thalia!" I yelled, waking her (and Zoe) up. Zoe carried on weeping,

"LUKE!" Yelled Selina. I looked around, but realised that she wasn't next to me anymore, and neither was Charlie.

"Where did they go?" I asked. Hazel shrugged. She and Frank got up,

"We'll look here. Leo, Jason, you two try the next floor. Piper, stay here with Zoe, Thalia and Nico, you guys take the basement and the attic," Frank said authoritatively. I nodded. Me and Jason got up and headed to the stairs,

The first room we looked in had white walls, flecked with black. It was covered in books, most of them being fairy tales, and in on corner, there was a reading nook, filled with cushions and teddies. I recognised it as Selina's room when I saw the huge pink unicorn that I had bought her last Christmas - it was almost double her size.

The next room was huge! It had baby blue walls, and one of them was a screen that displayed the sea,

"Jason," I nagged, "This is making me want to pee," Jason rolled his eyes,

"Come on then, repair boy. No one's here anyway," He said, and led me to the next room.

In here, the walls were a light purple. There was a crib in one corner, and a rocking chair in another. This was Zoe's room. I sighed,

"No one's here," I said. The next room was a bathroom, then a spare room. The final room that we looked in was grey and blue - three guesses who's room that was. In the centre of the room was a fountain,

"Oh! This makes me want to pee too!" I whined. Jason made an exasperated noise and we headed back downstairs,

"Two out of three," Said Piper as we walked into the living room,

"Who are we missing?" Asked Thalia,

"Selina," Grimaced Frank. I groaned. Remind me never to have kids.

That's when things went wrong - as if they hadn't before.

A huge rumbling began to echo around the house. I gulped. Suddenly, a huge wave of water crashed down on us. Piper screamed and lifted Zoe above her head. I picked up Charlie, and beside me, Jason picked up Luke.

As it turned out, however, we didn't need to. All three of the children stayed dry and completely protected from the water,

"Good gods," Whispered Jason, "This is going to be a long night,"

Pt. 2 coming!
