It's been a week since I met up with Melo and we've none stopped texted and called on FaceTime every night. I have a guard up, I can't let myself fall for him again I can't and I wont.
My phone starts to ring as I I'm laying on the couch, I look down to see its melo.
"Hey shay" melo says with a toothy grin.
"Hey Mel" I reply
"Wanna hangout out tonight?" He says nervously.
"Ye my place or yours" shocked by my answer he replies
"Yours if that's alright."
" ye see you at 7?"
" ye bye beautiful" he says as he quickly ends the calls.
I sit there blushing. Omg did he just call me beautiful. But I quickly stop myself from feeling anything about this. All the things his done to me and how his made me feel. Now he wants to appreciate me, now that I'm happy and moved on from him. He reminds me to much of my past and all the terrible that happened. Maybe i shouldn't see him tonight. Ye I'm not I'm going to text him after i get out the shower that I can't hang.
After the shower
I grab my phone and begin the text.
" hey I can't hang tonight something came up."
Almost immediately he responds
"Oh yea that's cool"
I don't know why but that kinda hurt to see he's not hurt but soon brush it off.
