New beginnings

Caitlin packed up the last of her stuff and took one last look around her apartment. She sighed. She had a lot of memories in here, but it was time. She had never even imagined that when she first moved here, her life would have turned out like this. So many feelings, so much emotion. She shook her head and carried the last box into the moving van. She took one last look around before she decided to depart 

"Caitlin"

"What are you doing here?"

"We came to say goodbye"

Caitlin hugged Barry's parents goodbye 

"Take care and ring us when your there to let us know you have reached safely"

Caitlin looked around silently 

"He's not coming. He's still too upset your leaving him"

Caitlin shook her head. This was something she needed to do, why couldn't Barry understand that?

"I'm going to miss my train. I'll ring you when I get there"

Caitlin got into her car and was about to drive off, when she heard her name being called 

"What are you doing here?"

"I wanted to apologise. If you need to do this for yourself, go and do it. Who am I to stand in your way? Go, be happy. Maybe you'll meet someone there who will make you more happy then I ever could"

"Barry, you still don't get it. This isn't about you or any other bloke. It's about me. Me growing as a person"

"Ok, I'm sorry. But just remember if you ever decide to come back I'll be here waiting"

"No Barry, I can't ask you to do that"

"You're not. I'm offering"

"Barry"

"No Caitlin, you made your choice. Well this is mine. I choose to wait for you"

Caitlin kissed Barry's cheek

"Be happy Barry, no matter what you do"

She got into her car and drove to the train station, ready to begin the next adventure in her life
