I sat alone in the corner of my dimly lit room. I had rented out this tiny apartment room for a very cheap price, at the expense of my comfort of course.
It's been several years since I've started to search for my elder brother's fingers. I've managed to get at least 1...
I'm weak. I could only get a few, I tried and tried and tried. Even when I tried to fight for some, each curse with its newly found power attracts even more curses to itself, and eventually it becomes an all out brawl. A fight to the death.
This time however, I've located one of them in a school nearby named Sugisawa High. No strong curses seem to be too close, so I may have a chance. I have already enrolled in a class and are attending tomorrow.
"Yosh, I'm going to get it this time!" I exclaimed, ignoring the fact that the neighbors may complain and get me evicted.
"Oi, keep it down in there! Some people are trying to sleep!" My neighbor called out almost as if they read my mind, the thin walls of the apartment once again proving inconvenient.
"Gomen ___-san, just excited!" I yell through the wall, purposely irritating them further.

No response...
"Oh wait, I need to text Junpei!" I hurriedly reach for my phone, fumbling a bit before I reach it.

Junpei: Mhm, I was waiting for you to text anyways
How did the school registration go?
(N/N): Ah- It went great, I'm attending tomorrow
