Third Person's POV

"Remember, our goal is to bring the princess home." The castle is preparing. Because of the King's decision yesterday, nagtalaga na siya ng limang tao to bring Cahira back. He's talking to each of them to make sure that it would go well.

"What's this?" a voice came out of nowhere, it's Prince Conrad. He seems not aware of this 'rescuing' thingy of the Pyroc Kingdom, led by their one and only king. "Did you already know where Cahira is?"

"Yes and we're gonna rescue her this morning."

"Rescue? Is she in some sort of danger?"

"As far as we know, she isn't."

"-But we have to get her back as soon as possible."

In Mortalis World

Cahira's POV

I'm not in the mood for half of this day. Classes are stressing me out! I'm starting to think that I shouldn't have agreed to this in the first place. As usual pauwi na ako, nasa parking lot ako. Why? I actually don't know kung ano ang pumasok sa isip ni Lorcan at naisip niya ulit akong ihatid. I've been waiting here for 30 mins already and still wala pa rin siya. Naglalakad-lakad ako around the parking lot, there's nothing unusual naman. But I sense something wrong. This school is weird, nasa pinakadulo siya at ang kasunod na niya ay isang di kalakihang gubat. At dahil nasa parking lot ako, tanaw na tanaw ko ang matataas na puno. There's a fence separating the school from the forest. Kaya ko naman siyang akyatin so I did. There's really something that's goin' on here. I really can't tell pero I proceeded to explore the not-so-big forest.

Babalik na sana ako sa ilang minuto na wala naman akong nararamdaman na kakaiba. But something in my mind told me to come deeper in the forest. As I did, nanlaki ang mata and I quickly hid my presence. Agad akong nagtago sa likod ng isang puno.

"Anong ginagawa rito ng mga sundalo ng Pyroc?"

There's five of them and I know na pangkaraniwan lamang silang mga sundalo. Hindi nalalayo sa kanila ang punong pinataguan ko. Kailangan kong makaalis dito. I slowly made my move at dahan-dahan akong lumakad paalis sa punong aking pinagtataguan. I was successfully doing it when something rang so loudly! The phone! Tsk.

Hindi ko na ito nasagot dahil ramdam kong kumilos na ang sundalo. Agad akong nagbato ng bolang apoy sa di-kalayuan upang doon mapunta ang kanilang atensyon. At tulad ng inaasahan ay doo silang lahat pumunta. Muling tumunog ang "cellphone" kung tawagin ni Lorcan. He gave it to me when we were at the amusement park.

"Ano ba?!"

"What the hell with that tone?"

"Bakit ba?!"

"Did you forgot already? Sasabay ka sakin umuwi diba? I've been waiting here for 15 mins already!" arte ng lalaking to, nahiya yung 30 mins kong pag iintay sa kanya kanina.

"Yeah whatever. I'm comin'"

I peacefully made it sa sasakyan niya. Hindi ako agad nakaimik, I was preoccupied with the thought that 'they're' already here. I guess my freedom from the castle is already over.

"Got a problem?" napatingin ako kay Lorcan.

"Why are you asking?"

"Oh quit it."
