Chapter 21 - The Mistake

Shorter chapter but more of just setting the plot hehe

Ron's pov:

"Y/n, just please tell me that you will be safe." I said while hold her face in my hands.

"I promise Ron" she said in barely a whisper, I knew she was nervous.

If you didn't know today is the third task.

"We should probably head down now"
She said.

"Okay" I kissed her forehead "let's go."

We made our way down to the common room which was empty because everyone was at breakfast.

"Let's go eat"

She gave me a reassuring smile before entering the maze with Harry, Cedric, Krum and Fleur.

10 minutes later
"What's taking them so long" I asked 'mione.

"It's not a two second thing Ronald!" She snapped at me.

I knew Hermione was nervous about Fleur, Harry and y/n. She had a lot of people to worry about.

"I'm sorry" she sighed "I'm just scared."

"It's okay" I said "me too"

Y/n pov:

"There's the cup!" Harry shouted.

Me, Harry and Cedric all stick together.

"Okay, let's touch it together" Harry said "on the count of three"

"One"

"Two"

"Three!"

I suddenly felt a sick feeling then we were transported to an empty place.

"Long time no see." Said a voice.

We turned around to see none other than Peter Pettigrew.

Before I could even process what was happening wormtail had took me and Harry blood and summoned Voldemort?

"Kill the spare" Said Voldemort.

And wormtail did.

"No!" I screamed

"Well, well, well" said Voldemort "if it isn't the potter twins." He turned to me "I wish we could have more time together dear. But this is the only option."

Me and Harry shared confused glances.

Voldemort pulled back his hand which he had his wand in.

"Avadra Kedavra!" He screamed.

The spell hit me right in the chest.

I blacked out.

Ron's pov:

Suddenly Harry appeared.

Everyone stood up and started cheering.

"Wait Ron something wrong" Hermione said.

"What?" I asked trying to look past the cheering people.

Harry was crying over someone.

"Oh my god" Hermione said as she began to push past people and run over to Harry. I did the same.

"He's back" Harry cried "he's back, Voldemort is back!"

I felt like I couldn't breath.

Y/n was lying there, pale, lifeless.

She was dead.

MgGonalgal knelt down beside y/n's body.

Her and Dumbledore gave each other a look before saying "it's okay Harry."

But it wasn't.

One hour later

"So the reason that we have brought y/n to the hospital wing is because" MgGonagal looked at Dumbledore, trying to find the words.

"Because what!" Harry shouted.

"She still has a heartbeat Harry" Dumbledore said.

"Are you sure that it was the killing curse that Voldemort casted on y/n" MgGonalgal questioned.

"One hundred percent" he said with full confidence.

"Okay well" Dumbledore started "we will keep her here, maybe she'll wake up."

"What do you mean maybe" I said angrily

"Me Weasley we don't know how she survived this. Her and Harry survived their first hit with with killing curse because of their mother's love, but this, this is weird."

"Harry and y/n got hit with the killing curse that night?" Hermione said.

"Yeah" Harry answered "she wanted to keep it a secret."

Y/n pov:

I opened my eyes to the bright lights of the hospital wing.

Aren't I supposed to be dead? This must be heaven. Heaven doesn't smell very nice.

"Hello miss Potter" madame Promfrey said.

"I'm not dead?" I whispered

Madame Promfrey heard me and laughed "no, no miss, your not." She turned her tone more serious and gave me a sympathetic look "Both of you are very healthy"

"Both of us?" I asked

"You don't know?" She said concerned. "Oh you poor child" she muttered.

"What is it?" I asked very confused.

She looked at me and sighed "miss potter" she hesitated.

"Yes.." I egged her on

"Your pregnant."

DONT WORRY THIS ISNT A WEIRD ONE WITH A BABY IT HAS AN ACUAL PLOT.

idk why but I have so much more motivation to write. 🧍🏻‍♀️
