literally he gets so much hate and for what.

"the knock-off percy." "he's boring." "his relationship with piper wasn't like percabeth."

well guess what bitches. jason isn't SUPPOSED to be percy. he doesn't have percy's sarcastic inner monologue that we've all grown to love. and yes, he may be camp jupiter's resident hero, but comparing him to percy isn't fair at all.

jason and percy have completely different backstories. percy of course did grow up with that asshole gabe but he had queen sally too. I'm not downplaying percy's abuse (bc gabe definitely did do that to him, I don't doubt it for a second), but jason grew up with no family. he was abandoned when he was two and was left in the woods crying until the wolves found him. he also didn't know he had a sister until the lost hero. he got different training than percy and camp jupiter taught him different things. they're two totally separate people and yet everyone still fails to realize that

as for him being boring, yes his blonde hair and blue eyes may make him look like a tr*mp supporter, but if you get over that and actually take time to read his pov's you'll find out that he's actually an amazing character who just needed more depth if he was given the time of day.

and his relationship with piper isn't at all like percy and annabeth's relationship. they were thrown into completely different situations yet if you read more into it you'll see that they actually truly and deeply care for each other. and then rick made them break up ?????? how does that make sense

well guess what bitch jason isn't SUPPOSED to be percy. jason is jason and he has so many amazing qualities to him.

AND THEN RICK KILLED HIM OFF ?????? IN THE MIDDLE OF HIS CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT ??????? HUH ??????

jason grace did not deserve to die. that boy who stole my heart deserved to live a long life, and maybe it wouldn't have been with piper, but he deserved to have the person that loved him unconditionally. literally fuck you rick.

anyways in my mind he's still alive thriving at that school in california bc we all know he's a cali boy

so, in conclusion, jason deserves more credit, he is not dead, and jason grace slander will not be tolerated here. no ma'am
