let me tell you about the sequence of events I experienced today
• got on the countdown clock at 8 am for the may 27th concert which was one of the ones I got a presale code for (I also got one for may 28th but I wanted the 27th bc phoebe and gracie are opening)
• got into the lobby but then ticketmaster CRASHED and I tried getting back on but I kept getting an error message but I refreshed the original tab that had the queue and GOT PUT IN THE QUEUE
• waited in the queue for four hours. FOUR HOURS. ticketmaster apparently stopped everyone's queue bc there were so many people so I was just chilling (I read a lot of red white & royal blue as I did so)
• THEY LET ME IN AND MY CODE WORKED
• I bought the tickets 🤩🤩🤩
after four hours of nothing but stress and anxiety my head is POUNDING and I'm ready to crash
but in celebration of me getting tickets when I've been stressing for weeks over this, here's a list of songs that I hope she plays from each album bc ERAS duh
debut - tim mcgraw duh come on - teardrops on my guitar one of my favs tbh - our song too iconic not to play
fearless (tv) - love story she probably will - you belong with me she also probably will I just NEED to jump to this - the way I loved you not likely but a girl can dream
speak now - mine fav song forever - sparks fly no further explanation - dear john the tears would not stop - the story of us I always go crazy for this - enchanted VERY likely - better than revenge she most definitely will not but imagine how iconic it would be - haunted I want to ruin my vocal cords - long live imagine this as an encore oh my god I would not stop crying
red (tv) - red love that song - all too well 10 minute version is VERY VERY VERY likely that like symbolizes the red tv era - the moment I knew she for sure won't but underrated song I would like to cry to live - nothing new maybe since phoebe's there she'll pull this one out - the very first night pop perfection
1989 - blank space yes. - style YES. this HAS to be played - out of the woods bridge goes hard - you are in love extremely unlikely but I love this song
reputation - . . . ready for it? iconic opener for rep - end game yeah she won't but i would go crazy hearing blondie's rap live - don't blame me TAKE ME TO CHURCH - delicate 1 2 3 LET'S GO BITCH - look what you made me do this song WAS the rep era if she doesn't play it I'll be surprised - getaway car enough said - king of my heart UP ON THE ROOF WITH A SCHOOL GIRL CRUSH - dress underrated song
lover - cruel summer I NEED TO SCREAM IT WITH HER I HAVE TO - the archer would cry 1000000% - paper rings fun lil pop moment - afterglow yeah <3 - daylight I ONCE BELIEVED LOVE WOULD BE BURNING RED
folklore - cardigan obviously. - my tears ricochet I would throw myself off the top row of metlife to hear this - mirrorball PLEASE - august so much for summer love? and saying us? 'cause you weren't mine to lose? - this is me trying my every day anthem - betty she has to sing the trilogy it's just standard
evermore - champagne problems imagine screaming "what a shame she's fucked in the head" I need it - 'tis the damn season I love this song - tolerate it I want pain - ivy bop
midnights - lavender haze if this isn't the opening song then what have we been doing - maroon yes. - anti-hero I want to hell about how I'm the problem - you're on your own, kid if she plays this I'll lose my mind but in a good way bc I relate SO MUCH to this song - bejeweled LET ME DO THE DANCE - karma ultimate feel good song - the great war BC WE SURVIVED IT FOR THESE TICKETS - would've, could've, should've GIVE HER BACK HER GIRLHOOD! IT WAS HERS FIRST!
I will honestly be happy with whatever she plays I'm just so grateful and fortunate that I get to go ❤️
