Adventure Bay Citizens to the rescue!

Ch 2: Taking back what's their's

In the morning when the paw patrol (Main 6 + Ryder) got back to the lookout, they all couldn't help but feel that they were being watched. Of course they kinda shrugged it off and they unpacked what they took and put them away. When they were done they all sat in the lobby and they couldn't help but talk about what happened. "Oooo! Remember the story that Rocky told us about Project R?" Skye asked and the other pups nodded but Ryder asked "Project what?" "Oh right! Ryder didn't hear it because he fell asleep before Rocky could even tell the story!" Chase admitted but Ryder replied with "That's because I was exhausted and I didn't know how long I can stay up!" Everypup then started to giggle including Ryder. As they were talking, they didn't know that people tracked their location and that they got ready to go to get them. Anyways, Ryder soon got a call about a situation going on at City Hall with Mayor Humdinger. Apparently he thought it was a good idea to make everyone do as he says even tho Mayor Goodway isn't away at all. The pups and Ryder all had to deal with it and Ryder wasn't happy. As they got there, Ryder saw that Mayor Humdinger grabbed Danny's arm but in an angry way and Danny looked scared so Ryder got off his atv and he managed to get Humdinger's hands off Danny. Danny hugged Ryder as a thank you because Danny didn't know what he would do if Mayor Humdinger would take him. "Oh come on! No daredevils allowed in Humdinger Bay-" "THIS ISN'T YOUR TOWN!!!!!" The Paw Patrol exclaimed which shocked everyone. Humdinger didn't know how to respond to that because they all never heard the main 7 (yes, this is including Ryder) paw patrol that mad. Sure they heard some pups mad but not all main 6 and Ryder! Even Danny and Katie were surprised to hear Ryder mad because they never heard Ryder mad before. They NEVER heard him mad at all!!! Anyways, as Ryder and Humdinger were having a friendly conversation (aka arguing with Humdinger saying a few bad things making Danny hold Ryder back) the pups had to deal with the kitties who were causing a mess with Adventure Bay. The kitties lead the pups towards the forest but the kitties got away and they made it safely back to Foggy Bottom. "Darn it! They got away!!!" Chase exclaimed as all of the pups parked (or landed in Skye's case) in a clearing. "At least we got them out of Adventure Bay." Skye admitted as she went over to the boys. "Hey... Does anyone feel like they're being watched?" Rubble asked and all of the pups nodded I'm agreement. "We should head back to Adventure Bay." Chase admitted but as the pups turned around they all realized that they were surrounded by scientists and lab guards. "You're not going anywhere..." Dr. Wilson told the pups and the scientists plus attacked guards attacked the pups who all fought back. The pups struggled to keep their guard up but then they heard a few guns being fired and before they knew it they all felt needles hitting them like a dart and they all blacked out.

-Meanwhile back at the lookout-

Ryder was looking through the parascope for the pups because they haven't returned at all and he was starting to get worried. "Where are you pups, where are you?" Ryder told himself as he looked through it. He then tried to call their pup tags but nothing. None of them picked up and all he got was static. Ryder then tracked down their pup tags but they all disappeared when he found them. He was starting to get really worried about his pups to the point he had to call Katie because usually she can calm him down. Turns out she wasn't alone because she was hanging out with Danny at the park where a lot of people at Adventure Bay is at. As soon as Katie answered the phone, a panicked Ryder exclaimed words really fast that Katie couldn't understand but it did draw attention to Mr. Porter, Danny, Cap'n Turbot, Mayor Goodway, Farmer Al, Farmer Yumi, Alyssa (my oc) and everyone else at the park. It was a really warm day so almost everyone in Adventure Bay was at the park just hanging out or with their family or with their kids. "Ryder, calm down and tell me what's wrong." Katie told Ryder. Ryder took deep breaths and then he explained to Katie while trying not to cry "The pups haven't returned and I'm starting to get worried because I know that after they're done with their mission they would tell me if they were going somewhere else but they haven't say anything yet and they're not around Adventure Bay that I can see through the parascope, they're not answering their pup tags, and when I tried to locate their pup tags, they're gone like their signals disappeared out of no where and I'm worried about them but I have no idea what to do!"  Everyone couldn't believe what they heard. First they heard Ryder mad but now him starting to cry a bit, everyone can tell that today isn't good for his emotions. As Katie was talking to Ryder, Danny joined in and he put himself in camera view. As the two were trying to tell Ryder that everything will be ok and to calm down, but then Danny saw a man coming up from the elevator that Ryder had his back to and the man stepped out of elevator and he made his way to Ryder. That's when Danny exclaimed "Ryder! Look out!!!" Ryder turned around and he saw the man so he accidentally dropped his pup pad but both Katie and Danny watched in horror as the man was trying to grab Ryder. The man's foot then went over the pup pad and the call ended but not without Katie and Danny hearing Ryder screaming "No! Don't take me!!!" Along with a bunch of stuff that people usually scream if they're being kidnapped. "RYDER!!!!" Katie and Danny exclaimed as the call ended. "Collin, Horatio, Yumi, Al, we need to check on Ryder. Danny, you're coming with us and Katie stay here with everyone else." Mayor Goodway told the two kids, the two Farmers, Mr. Porter, and Cap'n Turbot before she started to run off to the lookout in heels and a chicken in her purse. Danny, Mr. Porter, Cap'n Turbot, Al, and Yumi followed Mayor Goodway but as soon as they got to the lookout it was locked shut. Cap'n Turbot slammed himself against the doors but then Yumi saw the red button so when she pressed it, the doors flew up making Cap'n Turbot fall into the lookout. The adults and Danny ran to the elevator and went inside the elevator but when they got to the control room, they all saw Ryder missing so they all looked around for him. Danny then found Ryder's vest with a small tint of blood on it and it had dirty footprints on it. He also found Ryder's pup pad with a cracked screen with broken wires sticking out, and it looked like it was going to break in half by the slightest touch. The adults went over to Danny and Mayor Goodway kneeled down next to Danny who was trying not to cry. She then held her arms out to Danny and Danny immediately hugged her as one of his hands was holding the pup pad while the other had Ryder's vest. Danny cried into Mayor Goodway's shirt and She rubbed his back. When Danny calmed down and when he wiped away his tears, Yumi told Danny "Don't worry, we'll find the paw patrol and make sure they're ok and safe." "Yeah! Like Ryder said no job is too big, no pup is too small!" Mr. Porter added. "More like no job is too big, no citizens are too small!" Cap'n Turbot admitted and that's when it clicked with Mayor Goodway and Farmer Al so they both exclaimed "Adventure Bay residents are on a roll!!!"
