authorˊs note before reading : hey besties! so basically , there is only one chapter left of season one. very sad i know. so , i'm not ready to let jj and lana go for now , and with that being said , here is a chapter of special lana & jj moments + some with the other pogues! i just feel like lana and jj's relationship is so loved and adorned and you all deserve to see some special moments between them that led into them falling in love before the summer! i hope you guys enjoy this little intermission chapter!

𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐀 𝐁𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐇𝐀𝐌 𝐆𝐀𝐕𝐄 𝐊𝐈𝐀𝐑𝐀 𝐀𝐍 𝐀𝐍𝐗𝐈𝐎𝐔𝐒 𝐆𝐋𝐀𝐑𝐄. Nervously , she tried smoothing her hair down that had became frizzy from the humid , beach air. She looked around and immediately felt out of place in her pink top , with a matching barrett pushing her hair away from her face. "You told me I dressed fine!"
"You did?" Kiara told her with a confused expression.
Lana gave her blank stare before gesturing towards the other people wearing flannels and shorts , their grunge style making her stand out awkwardly. Kiara rolled her eyes making Lana pout. "Kiara—" she whined. "I already know what your friends think about Kooks like me. I want them to , you know , not think I'm some stuck up rich bitch."
"You are rich." Kiara pointed out. "But—" she began with Lana frowned. "You're not a stuck up , rich bitch or I wouldn't be hanging out with you."
Lana nodded and smiled at Kiara's words. They brought her somewhat an ounce of comfort.
"Now come on! Let me introduce you to Pope first! He's the least intimidating person I know." Kiara grabbed her hand and dragged her away towards the crowd. Lana allowed her to take her away , anxiety bubbling in her throat. This was her first time meeting the Pogue's and Kiara warned her that some of them wouldn't be so welcoming at first. Lana didn't do good with confrontation and she hated when people didn't like her. Though , it's not like there was anything she could do about it.
