"Come on, we're going to be late," Mark tells his sister, Jia-Li, as he walks into the halls of where your volleyball game is going to be held. Jia-Li runs behind, "Did you really have to wear heels? Who are you trying to impress?" Mark ask as he waits for his sister to catch.

Jia-Li catches up and they both walk side by side, "I can dress up like how I want. It's my body. What makes you think I'm dressing up to impress someone? You already know I'm better than most people in this world," Jia-Li says defensively.

"One, the heels your wearing are only worn by you when we go out to eat, parties, special event, and trying to impress someone. Two, you took three times as long to pick an outfit than you usually do. Three, You kept checking yourself in the mirror, even on the way here on the bus, you  took out your phone to check if your hair is okay. Four, you---"

"Okay, I get it!" Jia-Li says, stopping her brother from exposing her too much, "You really do keep a close eye on your sisters, don't you?" she ask with a smile.

"It's the only way I know how my sisters are. Beside dad, I'm the man in the house and I'll do whatever I can to help and protect my sisters and my mother," Mark says, not caring if it's cheesy or not. He means it. He was raised in a house hold where he was thought to protect his sisters as he was the man in the house, after his father. He was raised t be a gentleman towards woman, respect a no, know every woman problem because of his sisters, etc.

Jia-Li smiles and hugs her brother, "I love you so so much!" she tells him with a giggle. Mark just smile as his sister's affection but Jia-Li stop when she sees a guy bothering a girl, "Mark, look," Jia-Li says.

Mark looks and shrugs, "It's none of our business," Mark tells her.

"Mark!" Jia-Li says as she wanted her brother to do something.

"No, look at me. He's clearly older than me and taller," Mark points out, "You confront them," Mark says and Jia-Li sighs.

"Markie, if I go, he flirts with me instead of her, you know this," Jia-Li tells him which made Mark sigh loudly as he doesn't want that.

"Fine. Give me your shoe," Mark says which confused Jia-Li, "Come on, give me the shoe. Imma do something mom would do," Mark says as he puts his hand out. Jia-Li takes off a heel and hands it to Mark, "Let's see if I still got it," Mark says as he looks at the guy that's bothering the girl.

Mark throws the heels and it hits the man's head, "Who the fuck threw---"

"So how much of a loser and desperate guy do you have to be to not understand that she's not into you?" Mark ask with a smirk as he puts his hands in his pocket.

The guy looks at Mark but then notices his sister, Jia-Li. The other girl takes this chance to leave like how she wanted to in the first place. The guy picks up the shoe and walks towards them, "I think this belongs to you, princess," the says as he shows Jia-Li her hell.

Without a second thought, Mark grabs the heel from the man's hand then grab his arm as he place his leg behind the man's. He pushes him down while his leg is being used as a way to tripe him from behind. The man falls on the ground.

"The hell--"

Mark decides to scare him by using his sister's heel as a way to hurt him but he just bring it close to his eyes. He saw this in an anime and have alway wanted to try it out, "One, I'm her brother and you are not talk to my sister that way. Two, you're are older than me meaning you should be better than I am and I at least know when to back off when someone is clearly not interested," Mark tells him, "And three, you're lucky this is my sister's heel," he adds as he backs off and gives Jia-Li her heel.
