"I would like to firstly start off with another apologize for the lateness. However, thank you all for your patience," you say gently on the microphone. Your voice coming out in a shaky tone which cause you to curse at yourself.

You clean your throat and force a smile, "This is a music performance by the third-years students in Music class. We would also like to thank the first and second-years who have helped us out," you inform. You introduce the music teacher as the conductor and you introduce the song that will be performed.

Reflexion, Mulan.

You gave the music teacher the signal and he looks at the student. He does a countdown and then bam. They started to play. the hand that didn't have the rings are is what you're using to hold the microphone. Your other hand is placed on your side, your thump playing with the anxiety ring.

You look panicked but then your eyes landed on your father who's smiling. You look at your family and see them smiling as well. Jia-Li had her phone out as if she's recording. You notice Eric giving you a light nod as if he's assuring you that everything is okay.

You hear your part coming in. You start singing in a calm and sweet voice which surprised many in the audience as you sound different from when you were speaking. And as the song is Disney and you're at school, you are singing it in Japanese.

You have sang before to your classmates, in rehearsals. They have heard the way you sang and sound however, right now, you sound different. It was like you were putting more passion into the lyrics you're singing.

As if you were becoming the character. The song had some changes such as the beat and the motion of the song which everyone adored as it gave more life to the song they thought wasn't possible.

The music teacher smiles as the way everything is going smoothly. Your singing is beautiful and the students playing is amazing. Nothing is out of order and everything is flowing together. And then there's the high note you had to hit as the instrument quiet down to give it some, what the music teacher like to describe, feeling.

And you didn't just hit it. You owned it. Mark smiles brightly as he watches you sing. Jia-Li couldn't contain her smile either. Your family back in California were all watching as Jia-Li face-time them.

The audience are smiling and their eyes were bright as they watch you sing and listen to how well the student were playing. The set up, everything. Many are agreeing that this year has been one of the best school festival there has been in this school. And when you end sang the final line, everything went quiet to show that the song is over.

And then everyone started clapping which made you smile. You look around, feeling proud and accomplished. "(Name)," the music teacher says with a smile as he looks at you.

"Right," you say as you look at him and then back at the audience, "Thank you now if everyone can please calm down, we have two more songs to perform for all of you," you inform which had the audience settle.

You give you music teacher the signal and he nods. He countdowns again as he has the students attention and the next song plays. The other two songs were also Disney so that they can keep up with the theme.

And you had to much fun because as the songs were Disney, many knew the lyrics and many sang along. It was fun and amusing that the nerves you were once feeling just weren't there anymore.

You were having so much fun that you even moved around. You look around at the audience and you see smiles all around that it has reminded you of the times that you use to love being on the stage.

Not just singing but doing anything that brings the attention and this time, your parents are here. Everyone is here. You look over at your family and see them family and singing along with you
