|101| I Will Be Soon

"(Name)!" Everyone yells right after Jen got a point. It's the volleyball match for nationals. It's against Shiratorizawa academy. They spiked and Jen went for a block along with Alex. It hit their hand but the ball still went pass them and from the back. You ran for it and went for a dive but it happened so fast and the ball went near the wall.

You got the ball back in the air and hit it back but you slide on the ground. You skin make contact with the ground and you felt a burn on your skin. Right arm and thigh. Your elbow even make a sharp contact with the ground.

However, you quickly move your arms to your head and hit the wall but that didn't stop you. You got back up again and ran back to the court but your body was still processing the the impact and shock which had you a little dizzy. You made a strong step and fell on the ground, twisting your ankle just a little.

At the same time, the ball went near the net as you hit it upwards hard. Jen jumped and spiked it down, earning a point but the ref blow the whistle to stop the match as you weren't getting back up again.

Your teammates all rushed in to check on you. You tried to get back up but you felt a little dizzy and light headed, "Hey, are you okay? Look at me," Yuna says as she checks on your injuries.

"Yeah... I'm fine," you answer as you raise your right arm to rub your head and that's when everyone saw the injury. You slide on the ground too hard that some of your skin is off and that you started to bleed. It looked bad. Your elbow is red and the skin is a little peeled off but is wasn't as bad however your thigh looks bad.

You try to get up but you fell down on your knee and that's when you felt a sharp pain on your ankle but not only that, it'S only now you'Re starting to feel the pain all over your body. When you hit the wall, your hand made contact as it was protecting your head and body. 

You knew your elbows were going to hit the wall which would have hurt so you put one hand up front to stop the impact as you raise your knees, having your kneepads hit the wall. You did feel some the impact on your knee but because of the knee pad it wasn't so bad.

"Kuzume! You're in for (Name)," the coach yells as he moves the girls that are surrounding you aside, "Can you stand?" Mr. Lee ask you as he place a hand on your shoulder. 

"Yeah..." you say weakly as you force yourself to stand, "I'm fine, don't worry about it," you tell them but as soon as you took that step forward, you felt a hard pain on your ankle, leg, the burn on your thigh and arm. The pain on your shoulder and hand. Your head even hurts. You bit your lip to hold back a painful expression but it showed.

"Yuna, you're in charge," Mr. Lee declares and then he picks you. Princess style, "I'm taking (Name) to the infirmary," he announces and the girls all nod as they watch their coach take you away.

Some workers come to the scene and clean up the floor as some of your blood was there. And when that was done, Yuna quickly gave in some orders and strategies which everyone started to follow.

The game continued.

It was the first set and it's 15 to 22. Shiratorizawa in the lead by seven points.

Mr. Lee takes you to the infirmary and explains to the nurse in the room what happened. She quickly starts working on you. She cleans up your wounds, patch it up. She put some tap around your wrist and fingers to stabilize it as well as your ankle. She check if your head is okay and if there was anything else. 

Mr. Lee asked if you can still play but she strongly suggested that you don't as she could tell already that you were already injured, "If she pushes herself to play... If she forces her body to move then she won't heal properly and we're looking at her wearing a cast," she says which made you clench your fist.
