Acacia
I looked around the white empty space. It was perfect.
I had everything I needed, venue, catering, music, photographers, videographer, stock. I was more than ready for my launch party for my new clothing line. It was finally happening and I was so happy and proud of myself. I paid the fee to rent the venue out for the day before leaving, I needed to head over to my new storage/office to sort the clothes out by style and sizes.
I got inside my car heading over there, it was only 10 minutes away. As I was driving my phone started to ring. "Hello" I said loudly as I kept my eyes on the road, "Cacia, just calling to tell you mum has made the arrangements for the dinner and she said I should make sure you and your date are on time" Sade said, shit.
I had second thoughts on bringing Azrael to the dinner because of what happened at his sisters event with his family. I've been avoiding him since that day, he's called and texted me but I've barely spoken to him because of how he made me feel that day. Plus after I saw how he was acting with that pregnant girl, he's suspect. "Umm, I don't know if he can make it.." I said nervously, the phone started rustling, "I've already made the arrangements so he has to make it Acacia." mum said into the phone, I didn't even know Sade was with her. "Yeah but some stuff has happened and I just feel like.. it's complicated" before I could even finish my mum interrupted me as usual, "Acacia uncomplicate it, I hope I'll be seeing you both tomorrow. Hard ears yuh won't hear, own way you gine feel " mum said before hanging up, I rolled my eyes. My mum ALWAYS says that shit to me, I should get that shit tattooed on my body.
I took a deep breath, I had a decision to make. I was having a very good day so I needed to stay calm. I decided to call AZ. The phone started to ring till he eventually answered, "Hello.." Azrael answered. I ran my tongue over my teeth before I spoke, "Yeah, Hi" I said. As soon as I heard him speak all that anger and frustration I had with him, was gone. "You okay? I called you yesterday" Azrael said, I sighed "Yeah I'm okay and I was busy preparing for my launch party but I called you because I just spoke to my mum and she said she's made the arrangements for tomorrow for my sisters thing so I just wanted to double check with you.. to see if you was still coming. Don't think you remember" I said as I looked for a parking space.
"Yeah I do remember and yeah I'm still coming, what time should I pick you up?" Azrael said. Once I found a parking spot I turned off my engine picking up my phone and putting it to my ear, "Errmm, meet me there instead. I need to help my sister get ready so I'll be at my mums house. I'll send you all the details and stuff then tomorrow when you arrive I'll come out and get you" I said as I looked for my fob to get inside the building. "That's calm but Acacia are we cool yeah?" he asked, I paused for a second. Did I want to have a discussion about that night right now? "Yeah were cool Azrael, I'll see you tomorrow okay?" I said, I'll leave that conversation for later. "I don't believe you, I'm gonna come see you tonight" AZ said, before I could respond he hung up. I rolled my eyes as I got out my car making my way up to my storage.
AZ
I was at Brickz house with Aaliyah and Kevz. We was so ready for this tape to drop, we were listening to the final product and this shit was good. "I'm not gonna play the last track for you lot. You can wait till the tape drops but hit me, what do you think?" Brickz said as he sat down on the couch, we were chilling in his lounge. "I love it! Especially track 7 and 4 those are my favourites" Aaliyah said smiling. "Thank you Liyah" Brickz said, I nodded my head agreeing with her, "Yeah the tapes hard man honestly, this is big. I'm just imagining what the album will sound like" I said honestly, bro was talented. "This tapes gonna blow you know? Get ready bro" Kevz said. Brickz rubbed his hands over his hair before putting his hat on, "Thanks man I needed to hear that but yeah I'm ready to drop it" Brickz said as he turned on his tv and grabbing his control pad.
