On the evening went, and it was past midnight when two lonely figures appeared in the dark. They were holding hands and looking adoringly at something in their midst. Slowly, the darkness was swallowed by the surroundings, revealing a beautiful room. Not a room to be exact, it was something much more unusual so that none of us could ever imagine. It was a secret world only they knew.

His eyes shot open to directly glance at a sallow face, wearing a confused expression he only could see because of the sliver of light, slightly illuminating her face.

Tina's lips were slightly opened as if to ask something, but he knew she would remain silent until he spoke.

When he felt that he could no longer ignore the curious expression, Newt lifted his gaze to slightly catch her eye, just not too much so to avoid unnecessary blushing.

'Um Tina... So you're highly gifted, insanely good at performing magic,-'

A nervous, high- pitched giggle cut him short, coming directly from in front of him.

'Okay that's hilarious,' Newt cursed under his breath, swinging his legs sideways off the bench they were crouching on and getting up in one sitting.

Hurrying off, he walked right through the beautiful garden with statues of old ascendants on either side of the alley that was dimly lit by some meager, smutty looking street lamps.

Pacing through the maze of alleyways, he came to an abrupt halt right in front of the house emerging in front him. His mum's and dad's house. He couldn't just come back without Tina and without doing what he so long before has started to plan.

And doing, what was the only remaining, appropriate thing to do, he stalked off quickly, in the hope of finding some way that would take him on... Just anywhere, anywhere away from there. If he just had got his wand, or better, his case with him...

There he was walking the same ways for the third time that night. He had brought Tina here, in the hope of finally telling her his deepest, most desperate longing.

It was the night before she had to investigate in America again. Surely, he'd come with her. But his parents were so upset to hear the news of Tina and their little baby leaving, Newt almost thought of running away, going with Tina.

It was spring already and long after the yule ball. Not much had happened since then, apart from Tina receiving a letter just two days ago, saying she would have to fullfil her duty and go back to America.

So for Newt everything seemed instantly logical. There was one thing that might change everything, that might either Tina or his parents pursue to let them be together.

'Newt!'

'Oh dear,' he whispered, though it was dark he immediately recognised the angle-like voice of Tina's. Not knowing where to go, he just chose a random path, completely dark. The only thing to rely on were sounds.

So he listened, turned around almost soundless and found a black silhouette walking straight into him any second.

'Ugh,' they said as they crushed into each other, trying to free oneself from the other.

As they did, Newt looked directly in those dark eyes, those eyes....

'You know, your eyes really are-'

'I know, Newt,' Tina said, showing her white teeth in the dark. Newt interpreted that as a smile.

'Tina...'

'Wha-'

'Now just... Don't say anything, sorry'

And there Newt stood, feeling silly standing there, but despite his anxiety, he pulled out a small, black box, which was so long hidden in the breast pocket of his coat, right at the place where his heart sat.

So he slowly pulled it out and felt Tina frowning although both couldn't see much.

Just when Newt opened the box just a smidgeon, and he looked over at her, a few inches away, the expression of her face suddenly changed, almost in a understanding manner, though she looked happy and confused all the same.

'Tina...' Newt barely made an afford to look at her 'Would you wanna marry me?'

Now this was the end, Newt thought, this is all he could do to just ruin everything.

He saw tears forming in her eyes and was so overstrained to know what to do.

'Yes, sorry,' he said quietly and pocketed the ring again.

'Newt!' Tina half screamed, due to her uncontrolled voice. She sounded so excited, just as happy as if she'd just seen the most wonderful thing in the world and despite all his fears of what could happen, despite just everything, she said, 'Yes, I do.'

'Um sorry?'

'Oh Newt!' Tina now shrieked and happiness was showing in her gleaming eyes.

They stared at each other, open-mouthed although the smile on both their faces hasn't faded away. It was so unfamiliar, they didn't know what was right to do or say.

But for love influences involuntarily, it happened they flung their arms around each other, in their desperation pulling each other close and crushing their lips together. Remaining in that position, Newt almost automatically circled his arms around Tina's waist, embracing her as tightly as he's never done.

Tina replied by fully giving herself to Newt, removing an arm from his neck and instead placing it on his strong chest, so as to feel his heartbeat.

It was a wonderful evening, a soft breeze stroke their faces. Then there was the warm sensation of each others lips, causing both of them goosebumps and a tingling feeling, the feeling of being loved.

It were only seconds they pressed their lips together, letting them rest on each other until they broke apart due to a surprised squeal.

'What is it?' Newt tried to sketch a serious expression but all that formed on his face was a huge smile.

Tina only remained staring at his chest and almost instantly he understood.

Slowly he removed his arms from her waist and looking at her hands, he took her soft fingertips in his hand, squeezing them lovingly. Not lifting his gaze, he got the black box out his pocket, opened it to reveal the glittering silver ring that was kept safely inside.

He took the ring out and after thinking, put the box nimblely back to its place to keep.

There he stood with the simple, yet so meaningful ring in his hand. He risked a quick glance at Tina's beautiful face, now hidden by a dark shadow of a nearby tree. Returning to his business, he slipped the ring carefully onto her finger and then he held her hand in both his, to keep her warm and safe.

He could no longer fight the urge, the awkward it might be.

'Tina Esther Scamander.'

It was weird, for sure, but cute all the same.

And giggling, they gave each other a tight hug.

Omg hiii!
Gosh I know, I didn't update for 10000 years but there you go. I'm really sorry about this and sorry as well if this chapter was just rubbish as I wrote it in like 20 minutes. It was actually fun to write though, especially as I haven't written anything for ages because I'm so stressed out. School and just everything is exhausting right now as there's so much going.
Anyway, I really hope you liked this ANNDDDD omg thanks for your support, you're amazing!!!
See you soon!
