There he stood, the man to whom she'd lost Queenie. He was standing there, in the middle of a thousand people who were listening to him.
He seemed so calm, so powerful, so scary.
Tina looked around, looked at all those people. They looked fascinated, convinced, hopeful and... Scared. She had cought Newt's face. Their eyes met and she knew that he was thinking the same thing, even if they stood to wide away to be able to talk to each other.
They had to escape, they had to get out of here.
Grindelwald was speaking again but she didn't get what he said, she still was focusing on Newt, hoping he'd know a way to get away.
Out of the corner of her eye she saw people approaching. They were coming down the stairs that lead to the platform where Grindelwald stood.
The next thing she knew was Grindelwald saying :"Come and join me or die."
Then he cast a spell to make a blue circle appear around him.
Some of the people that had been walking down the staircase tried to escape but Grindelwald cought them with this spell and they vanished.
Some people willingly walked into the circle and then disapperated.
She saw Queenie screaming at Jacob when there were just a few people left, saw Queenie walking towards  Grindelwald, through the blue flames.
She looked nervously back at Newt again but a woman cought her attention. She was walking down the stairs, towards Grindelwald after she loudly screamed :"Stop Grindelwald!"
He came out of his circle, towards her and reached out to take her hand and she let it happen.
But when he turned and walked back into the middle of the great hall, the woman looked up at Newt, whispered something so only he could hear and then attacked Grindelwald.
He cast a spell to defend himself and with a flick of his wand he let the blue circle appear again and made it transform into a gigantic wave that engulfed the woman and...

"Newt!" Tina screamed on top of her lungs.
A few seconds later the door to Tina's room flung open and Newt kneeled down in front of her bed. He noticed that she wasn't awake and was sobbing hardly in her sleep.
He put his hands on her shoulders and shook her gently, trying to wake her up.
"Let go of me!" Tina shrieked.
Newt was confused first but noticed that she must still be having a nightmare so he shook her harder this time.
He then began crying himself : "Wake up, Tina! Please."
But still she didn't come back to reality which made Newt sob even harder. He hated seeing her cry and he hated not knowing the reason.
Newt let go of her and buried his face in her left shoulder.

The first thing Tina was aware of was a slight weight on her shoulder but it wasn't inconvenient. She could hear sobs and when she opened her eyes she detected Newt's silhouette.
"Newt?" she asked sleepily.
"Tina!" he nearly screamed and pulled her into a tight hug until Tina protested :"Um Newt I can't breath."
He immediately loosened the embrace, just to put both of his hands on her forearms.
"Since when do you feel bad, we immediately have to go to the hospital. It isn't far from here! Do you think you can apera-?!"
Newt was cut off by Tina :"Newt!"
But he didn't listen :"Okay okay. So you're going to change and then w-"
Tina now had said his name more louder and less calm than before which caused Newt to startle :"Newt! I'm fine you were just hugging me so tightly I could hardly breath."
"Oh, sorry," he said, looking at the floor. Even if it was dark and Tina couldn't see it she could tell he was blushing.
"So I'll leave you alone," he turned to leave but stopped on the threshold :"Newt? Why were you here?"
"Oh I was checking on you. You seemed to have a nighmare. Do you - do you wanna talk about it?" Newt now realised why he really was there.
Also Tina now slowly remembered what she had dreamt. She patted the space beside her.
He looked confused but sat down a second later.
Time passed by until Tina spoke :" It was a stupid dream. Not at least because I've been dreaming of what happened in Paris, when she joined him, even if it is already one week ago."
Newt let out a soft gasp and Tina went on :"But I didn't excactly dream what happened. Because in the end, when Leta attacked Grindelwald, he - he," she didn't make it to speak out the word killed because she started crying again. But she didn't have to finish the sentence:
"Tina it's okay, we both are alive. You don't have to worry about me."
She nooded although she knew he wasn't able to see it.
"Can you stay here tonight. In case I have another nightmare?" Tina asked after a while, blushing deeply.
"If you want me to I could," he said, his surprise audible in his voice.
"I want you to," Tina confirmed while laying her head on his chest.
When Newt realised what has just been happening he began strocking her hair gently, surpressing the urge to place a kiss on her soft hair.
After a while he heard Tina breathing calm.
"Tina?" he quietly asked to make sure she was asleep.
When she didn't answer he concluded from this that she was.
And he did what he wanted to do : he buried his nose in her hair, inhalating the sent of different flowers and then kissed the top of her head gently.
He couldn't stop himself from saying I love you, before laying her down on the bed.
He then lay down next to her, watching her silouhette. Everytime she breathed in, her petit body would lift.
With one last thought about Tina, he drifted off to sleep.

When Tina woke up the next morning, she found herself lieing in Newt's arms.
She gasped softly at the sight of one of his arms wrapped around her shoulder, his other arm wrapped around her waist, holding her close.
She now noticed that her head was lieing on his chest. She could hear his heart beating and when she lifted her head slightly to look at him he wore a peaceful expression on his face.
She let out a happy sight, lay her head down again and decided to pretend to be asleep, just to see what he was going to do when he noticed their sleeping position.
She hadn't had to wait to long. A few minutes later a sigh told her that he was awake.
She didn't hear anything for nearly a minute until Newt pulled her closer to him.
He must have made sure that I was still asleep, she thought, failing to hide her smile, so she pretended to wake up.
She stretched out her arms and opened her eyes :"Good morning, Newt."
He was staring at her and his shiny eyes brought her completely out of concept.
"Good morning, Tina," he whispered, unable to tore his gaze away from her.
After they had been staring at each other for along time, Newt realised that his arms were still wrapped around her and he slowly loosened his grip, blushing.
"I'm sorry," he said, attempting to get out of bed but he froze when Tina put a hand on his wrist :"You don't have to be sorry. Just don't go please."
He slowly turned around to look at her face, let out a sigh and lay down on the bed again.
She gave him an encouraging smile and he slowly moved closer to her putting his one hand on her waist and took her hand with his other.
But Tina wanted to be closer to him so she snuggled up to him, burieing her face in his chest.
He then let go of her hand and placed it on the back of her head, gently strocking her hair.
They just enjoyed being close for a while until Newt took a look at the clock :"Merlin's beard it's 11 o'clock am we really should get up."
When Tina just made a noice of disagreement he jumped out of bed, took both her hands in his and pulled her to her feet.
"You can fresh yourself up first," he said but when she didn't move he picked her up and made his way to the bathroom.
The whole time both wouldn't stop laughing and Tina was unsuccessful to convince him that she could walk on her own. Newt set her down in front of the door."Now fresh up," he chuckled before going back to his room.
He wanted to close the door that lead to Tina's room, when something cought his eye.
It was a letter lieing on her bedside table and he assumed it was the one she got from Tolliver - Tina's boyfriend.
His heart ached badly when he reminded himself that she was happy with another man.
He couldn't keep himself from reading the letter anymore, so he moved forward, picking it up and began to read even if he knew it was non of his business, even if he knew it would hurt...
