Grindelwald moved closer to them and came to a halt only a few inches away from Newt when he whispered :"Let go of her. She'll find the way out."
Newt looked into her tear strained face and knew that there was only one way to get both of them out of there alive - fight.
"Relashio," Newt murmured under his breath and the chains that tied Tina's arms together were vanishing. He pulled out his wand and began to shoot spells at Tolliver and Grindelwald, who defended themselves easily as Newt had to fight against both of them alone.
After a while Newt knew he wasn't able to keep him and Tina safe from all the spells and jinxes that nearly hit them. Also the screams of Tina, still in his arms and fainting slowly, were horrible to hear and he needed a way to get out immediately.
He didn't know what else to do so he just ran out of the room, turning around to cast spells to defend themselves.
But this wasn't going to end well. Grindelwald and Tolliver were running much faster and their spells were much more powerful than Newt's.
And then they reached the end of the corridor. Newt pressed his ear against the wall and patted against it but it was solid. He tried to apparate many times but it didn't work. There had to be enchantments that kept people from apparating in and out of there.
"Tina?" he asked, checking if she was still conscious but he didn't get a response.
Just then when Grindelwald shot another spell at Newt he felt himself being pulled backwards and then he found himself in another room, Tina in his arms. He tried to look around but he couldn't see anything apart from the darkness.
He didn't even know where Grindelwald and Tolliver were. They just vanished.
Then he heard a gasp, which was muffled by his shoulder and told him Tina was conscious again.
And then some torches that were all around the room were lit by somone and the voice sounded so familiar.
Newt turned around, not daring to let go of Tina and then he saw her... Queenie.
Her look didn't change much since they'd last seen her but yet that she was here with them again it seemed like everything had changed.
It had been nearly three months since Paris but it felt like years.
He turned around to Tina, to see her reaction and she was staring at Queenie.
"Hey Teen," she said in a very queenie-like voice.
"Hi," Tina breathed and after a second Queenie gave her sister a tight hug, who tried her best to return the embrace.
"What had happened?" Queenie asked after she'd let go of Tina and looked at her with a worried expression on her face.
"I've told Tolliver I'd go on a date with him tonight after he turned up in London. That was 9 pm when he picked me up from Newt's apartment. We were just walking around a bit until he told me we'd aparate to a small restaurant in the city center.
I agreed so he did what he had told me but instead of in front of a restaurant I came out here and Tolliver had vanished.
I started walking down the corridor just to see where he'd gone and where I was and the next thing I knew I was hit by a stunning spell and I must've fainted because I woke up after a time and found myself in a dimly lit chamber.
My arms were tied together so I wasn't able to move.
Before I could scream for help or whatever Tolliver came into the room."It's good to see you are fine, Tina," he said in a sarcastically way.
"Fine?! Would you call that fine?! I'm chained up, sitting in a chamber that I wasn't supposed to be in! Where am I?!"
Tina screamed at her boyfriend.
"Oh you'll be better soon. If I'm not mistaken your brave saviour has just arrived."
Tina frowned but she didn't had to ask the question that was forming in her head as Achilles continued to talk :"Mr Scamander's here. The guy that you're cheating on me with. The guy that ruined our relationship and also the reason why you're here. I never meant to hurt you Tina and I didn't ever want things to end like this either but I must keep you here so that I'll be able to, let's say, give Scamander what he deserves."
His voice was no longer sarcastically but angrily and it scared Tina what he was daring to do to Newt.
"What are you going to do to him?!" Tina screamed again, crying.
"Oh, there are many options but I prefer just killing him."
"You won't!" Tina cried, getting to her feet.
Just then when Tolliver wanted to spit out some words at her, the door to the chamber was opened magically.
Tolliver looked at it for a short time, then nodded and grabbed Tina's arm.
She tried to shake him off of her but there was no chance to get rid off him, he was clinging on her so tightly.
He led her to a room and when she looked around, she saw Newt.Tina snapped back to reality and saw Queenie staring at her with a concentrated expression.
"That's horrible, Teen!" Queenie breathed after a second and Tina, for the first time in her life, didn't mind that Queenie had been reading her mind. It would have been just too bad for Tina to tell her all of this.
"What happened after you were led to this room?" Queenie asked.
"I don't really know, I was barely conscious. I only remember Newt telling Grindewald, who also was in this room with us, that Newt should sacrifice himself to save me. And Newt said he would but then he started fighting against both of them - Tolliver and Grindelwald.
I lost consciousness again and then I remember awaking. Here." Tina finished.
"Well, obviously I knew that you'd been in trouble, otherwise I wouldn't have led you to the only part of the dungeons where you can aparate in and out. So you'll be able to get out of here." Queenie said.
"You won't come with us?" Tina said relieved because of the fact that this wasn't going to be the end of their life but immense sadness was audible in her voice.
"No Teen, I won't. But I'm sure we'll see each other again," Queenie said also quite sad and gave her sister one last hug before she said, "and now get out of here."
"But Grindelwald will be so mad at you, you dont know what he's going to go," Tina protested, crying again.
"I'll be fine, Teenie. You see, he will never do anything to me as it is quite practical to have an Legilimence around him. That can sometimes be useful." Queenie responded and both, Newt and Tina could tell, she was trying to hold back her tears, too.
Then Queenie turned around to look at Newt and whispered something in his ear :"Keep her safe. Please."
Newt blushed at this but nodded when he saw Tina's curious, suspicious look.
Newt held out his hand to her and she took it after giving Queenie one last smile and then they vanished. So here is the new chapter. I hope you enjoyed reading it.
I promise that this really won't be the last time that Queenie will be in this story also because I could never bear the thought of her being gone.
Again, thank you for your support!
