They arrived at the door to Newt's apartment.
When they came to a halt Newt knocked twice and after less than a second the door flung open with such enthusiasm that Newt jumped backwards, patting his heart as he tried to catch his breath.
"Don't do that again please," Newt told an as shocked as Newt Jacob.
"Oh right, I'm sorry," Jacob said before his eyes tarvelled from Newt to Tina, who also was shocked and then to a man, slightly taller than Tina.
When Jacob looked at Achilles, he put an arm around Tina in a already possesive manner, as if he wanted to show that he belonged to him.
Tina looked disgusted by this action.
"So you are Tolliver - oh sorry I meant to say Mister Tolliver. It's nice to meet you," Jacob said nicely.
"Yes that's right. And you are?"
"Oh I'm Mister Kowalski but you can call me Jacob if you'd like, everyone does. I'm a friend of Tina's,"Jacob introduced himself.
"It's nice to meet you too," Achilles said while withdrawing his arm from Tina's shoulders to hold out his hand to Jacob.
Achilles clearly seemed to like him, otherwise he would have treated him the same as he did treat Newt.
When Jacob and Achilles started a conversation she turned her head to look at Newt, who was staring at the floor.
She excactly knew what he was thinking: he is so different, nobody likes him, he is the one to always be alone, he is the freak.
People made that clear to him so often, he started believing it.
But she didn't think it was true. In fact, she thought that he was the most amazing and loveable person in the world.
She saw tears forming in his eyes and the only thing she wanted to do right know was to pull him in for a hug or to hold his hand.
She wanted to tell him that she liked or even loved him the way he was but there where to many people listening and Achilles would kill her if she held Newt's hand again.
Tina was so lost in thoughts, she hadn't noticed that Achilles already had vanished into the house together with Jacob.
"Shell we go in?" she asked Newt, trying to bring him back to reality again.
"Uh yes," he said, awkwardly wiping away his tears.
When Tina walked into the house, it smelt wonderful.
There was no doubt about it : Jacob was the best baker in the world and Queenie the best cook.
The thought of Queenie hurt and yet that she thought about her for the first time in days all the pain came back and she felt guilty.
After all the years together, she was gone for a few days and Tina nearly forgot her.
Was Queenie even thinking about her sometimes?
A single tear rolled down her cheek. Things would be much better if Queenie was still there.
Tina could have talked to her about everything, about Newt, about Achilles, about everything.
She missed her so much.
"Are you alright sweetheart?" Achilles asked her, a worried expression on his face.
"Yes," she quickly said and wondered if anyone had seen her cry. They must have, otherwise Achilles hadn't noticed that she wasn't fine at all.
He never knows what she feels like. He always just talks about him, his problems, his life. He never really cared about her.
And now that she thought of it, she remembered something Queenie had once told her.

They were both sitting in their dormitory at Ilvermorny and Tina was crying so hard.
Queenie was hugging her tightly, rubbing her back with her hand.
"I can't believe it...," Tina cried.
"Me neither."
"He cheated on me and I thought I could trust him. When I see him again, I'm going to hex him!"
"It's alright Tina."
"No it isn't, I thought I would have found someone that really loves me and I thought I loved him back. Well, I loved him back but," Tina sniffed, "he didn't seem to feel the same way.
"He did Teenie. But you are not supposed to be together."
"What are you trying to say?"
"He was a taker, you need a giver."

Back then Tina frowned at her sister but now she excactly knew what she meant. She felt empty because her boyfriend always just takes her time  takes her patience, he just leaves her behind empty.
With that thought she sat down at the table.
The situation was awkward and remembered both Newt and Tina of the evening when they shared their first meal together with Queenie and Jacob.
Achilles and Jacob were talking all the time and after a few minutes Newt and Tina didn't pay much attention to their conversation.
Everytime Tina noticed Newt staring at her she looked at him but he focused his eyes on something only he could see and would study it, blushing.

"This meal was fantastic. Thanks a lot Jacob. But I think I'm gonna go to bed now," Achilles said when dinner was over.
"Do you want me to create you another room?" Newt asked, trying to sound as friendly as he could.
"I'm going to stay in Tina's room. She won't mind."
That shocked Newt. How could he just say that he would sleep in the same bed with Tina although he didn't ask her if she was really okay with that. And her shocked expression on her face told Newt she clearly wasn't.
"I'm not sure Tina likes that idea," Newt said without thinking. He suddenly felt the urge to protect her.
"We'll be fine," Achilles said coolly, grabbing Tina's arm and leading her out of the room.
She looked back at Newt and he could tell she was crying, a helpless expression on her face.
