Why Niall *Requested*

*Jessica's POV*

I'm currently sitting at home with mine and Nialls little girl. Today is her fifth birthday and Niall promised her that he would be here. Yet he isn't.

"Mummy. Daddy promised he would be here." She cried into my shirt.

"I know honey. I'm so sorry." I said in hopes she'll get a little happier at least.

I hate seeing her like this and to see her like this on her birthday makes it even worse. He better have a good excuse for this and makes it up to her.

"Does daddy even love me? He came for Brians birthday." She sniffled. (Their thirteen year old son)

"Of course he loves you sweetie." I said my heart breaking after she asked that question.

"Mum I can take care of her. Dad wants you to call him." Brian said.

"Thank you Brian." I sighed.

"Anytime mum. come here beautiful." Brian said bring his little sister into his arms.

She snuggled into his chest hugging him.

I quickly took a picture of it smiling at their relationship.

I walked downstairs and sat down on the couch getting my phone back out and calling Niall.

"Hey." He sighed.

"Hi." I said slightly annoyed with him already.

"Look I'm so sorry I tried to go but I just couldn't." He said his voice cracking as he talked.

"Babe I'm not the one you should apologize to. You need to apologize to Hannah she's completely heart broken right now." I said.

"You're not mad are you?" He asked.

"No because I understand that sometimes you can't make things possible with your work." I said.

"Well can I talk to her?" He asked.

"Of course. Brian! Bring Hannah down here please." I called out.

"One moment mum. Come on Han." Brian said.

He walked downstairs and sat Hannah on my lap.

"Hey honey someone wants to talk to you." I smiled.

"Daddy?" She asked.

I smiled and nodded my head putting the phone on speaker.

"Hi daddy!" She smiled.

"Hey princess. I'm sorry I couldn't be there today I tried my best but I got stuck at work." He said.

"It's okay daddy. You still love me right?" She asked.

"Of course! I love you and your brother to bits." He said.
