"So, what're we doing today?" Billie whispered to me as the final bell rang and Mrs. Miller began speaking.

"I don't know. We could've went out and did some crazy shit but of course school is tomorrow." I rolled my eyes.

"We could have a movie night? Or go out and mess with the kids trick or treating?" I wiggled my eyebrows. She snorted but hummed.

"I'm down. We'll talk to Zayn about it after class." I nodded and glanced at my other best friend, who was texting who I presume to be Gigi.

"Y/n, you know how to produce right?" I nodded. Mrs. Miller hummed. "Do you think you could help me teach it today?"

I froze. Was I ready to take on that kind of responsibility? I don't even know everything about it like that. Do I know enough to even help?

No. "Sure."

FUCK.

I slowly stood up, my stomach aching in that terrible anxiety feeling. As I approached Mac's mother, she gave me a warm smile.

"Without the incredible work of producing there would be no music. It's a great skill to have and at first it may seem confusing - it's easy to catch onto." She began.

"Y/n," We then began to explain some buttons on studio soundboards and computer music production.

I explained sound waves and how to read them. I went into further depth of how studios work since I have one.

"So, yeah." I smiled tightly. Everyone in the room clapped, which made me laugh.

"Thank you, thank you." I playfully bowed. This caused more laughter.

"Thank you for helping me, Y/n. You may sit." I nod at her and do as told. Billie and Zayn dap me up and praise me for the good lesson. It made me feel a lot better about my skills in music, I won't lie.

"We've just about ran out of time. You may pack up, make sure you take good care of the notes you wrote today as you will be using them on Monday for the test. You're dismissed by the bell. Happy Halloween." She smiled and that's when the class - once again - erupted into incoherent conversations.

"Oh, Z," I caught his attention as he looked up from his phone and turned to me with a friendly smile.

"Billie and I were talking about what we're gonna do for today. All I came up with is movie night or torturing children." I chuckled. He laughed and shook his head, giving me a sympathetic look.

"Actually, Gigi's friend is hosting a Halloween party and she invited me too. It's open house so you guys can come? I'd like y'all to." His look then changed into one of excitement.

I turned to Billie, who shrugged at the offer as she popped a strip of gum in her mouth. "I'm down."

It was now my turn to shrug. "Me too." I smiled.
