Chapter 7

Y/N sat on the hospital bench, her eyes puffy from crying. Langa watched her, not knowing what he should say. Y/N looked up at him, Langa frowning and telling her "How about you go home, Your mother must be worried about you...". Y/N clicked her tongue, not wanting to head back to her apartment...not without knowing that Reki was find.

"I'm staying..." "Y/N, I know you want to see if Reki is find," Langa kneeled down in front of Y/N, a sympathetic look in his eyes as he told her "But you need to leave, as this is making you feel worse.". Y/N got up from the bench, hugging Langa tightly.

As Langa returned the young girl's hug, Y/N muttered to him "Please make sure he's okay...". Langa nodded and watched as Y/N left the hug, walking away from the teen. Once Y/N left, Reki left his hospital room, His head wrapped in bandages and his arm in a cast.

Reki looked over to see Y/N leave the hallway, asking Langa "Will she be okay?". Langa only shook his head, not sure himself. "I'm pretty sure she's mad at me..." Langa mumbled, remembering how Y/N reacted when he offered to race against Adam in Y/N's place.

When Y/N stepped inside her apartment, she was greeted by the fist of her mother. "There you are you, stupid bitch!" Y/N's mother screamed, Y/N falling back as the fist made contact with her face. "Where the fuck were you!?" Y/N looked up to see her mother with a stern look, Y/N trying to hold back her tears.

"Tell me!" "I don't need to tell you anything" Y/N's mother stayed silent for a bit, instantly grabbing her daughter's (H/C) hair and slamming her into the wall. "You have one more chance," Y/N's mother told her, Y/N trying to get up, "Where the fuck were you?". Y/N stood up, looking back to see that there was a small dent in the wall.

"I'm waiting!" Y/N looked back at her mother, saying to her mother with all the courage she had "I hate you...". "....What did you say to me?" "I hate you...." "...." Y/N's mother at first softly chuckled, quickly attempting to grab her daughter's arm but Y/N managed to run away and out of the apartment.

As Y/N left the apartment, she heard her mother yell out to her "You Bitch! come back here right now!". She only ignored her, running out of the apartment building. Now that Y/N was out the building, she looked both ways to see where she can head off to. Y/N ran into town, thinking to herself on how she can hide the police, knowing that her mother will call them if Y/N didn't return in the morning.

And Y/N didn't want to go back....

"Can I go to "DOPE SKETCH"?" Y/N thought, going over to the skate shop. But, it was sadly closed, causing Y/N to cuss under her breath. Y/N went to her plan b, which was to stay at one at either Reki or Langa's house. "Wait, do I know where they live?" Y/N said to herself, running deeper into town. She knew she didn't, so she had to cross that idea out.

Y/N had nowhere else to turn, so the only option she had left was to ask a stranger to let her in and that they will hopefully accept. Y/N went to the first house, knocking on the door quickly. The door opened, the home owner annoyed and tired as they saw Y/N. "Can you please-" "It's 11:05, I don't have time for girl scout cookies..." The home owner shut the door right in front of Y/N's face, Y/N holding back a sob as she went to the next house.

"Can you please-" "Go back home brat!' The home owner of that house slammed the door, making Y/N go the next house with less hope than before. Every time Y/N asked an owner of the house, she would always be interrupted mid sentence and have the door be closed on her. Y/N went to the last house in the neighborhood, weakly rasing her fist up to the door and softly knocking on it.

"Please...Please, help me..." Y/N sobbed, falling to her knees as she tried to wipe her tears away. This was her only chance, and if this person also rejected her....she would have to go back to her living hellhole that she unfortunately called "Home".
