DISCONTINUED Attack on Titan-Levi's sister

Chapter 12

I had my arm sorted out properly before bumping into Sasha and Connie.
"Hey guys" I said faking a smile.
"How's the arm?" Connie asked.
"It's broken. The nurse wants me to rest it for a few days but she obviously has no clue as to what I'm like"
"What you did back there was pretty sick. Climbing out of a titans neck from the inside. That story will spread like wildfire"
"What about Eren? I'm guessing he knows who I am"
"Everyone does now. He's pissed so I wouldn't expect him to talk to you"
I nodded and followed them to the canteen. I had my tray of food and smiled when I saw everyone sat at the table, Eren looked up and pulled a face so I carried my tray outside with me. To be honest I didn't really feel hungry so I lay down, looking up at the sky.
I began to sing a song.
"Our names won't be remembered, If we die like trampled flowers. I refuse to be forgotten. Written off as less then worthless. Scream and cry but non will hear you. Plead and beg but none will help you. You no longer live as cattle. Will you rise and join the battle"
Someone began clapping so I sat up.
"That was good." Jean said hobbling over. He sat down next to me and smiled. "See you've broken your arm"
"I'm guessing you've been briefed on today's events"
"Yes I have. Eren stormed off."
"Why?"
"I don't think he wants to listen how his girlfriend was eaten by a Titan."
"I wasn't eaten by a Titan though. I escaped"
"I also think he feels a bit betrayed too. I mean you were someone he loved and you barefaced lied to him."
"You didn't hear the things he said to me. If it wasn't for the commander I wouldn't be here"
"All I'm saying is go and talk to him about things. Reassure him that you didn't want to lie"
"And I'm not his girlfriend" I stood up and smiled. Using my good arm, I pulled him up. "Ill go find him and try and talk things over" I walked off to find Eren and he was sat by and cabin sulking. I went and sat next to him and the minute he saw it was me he went to walk off. "Wait." I said trying to grab his arm. "Let me explain" I said sadly.
"Explain what? The fact you lied to me and then nearly got yourself killed when I could have helped you."
"Eren please."
"No! Don't please me. I've been beating myself up over the fact that you've left but all this time you've been getting promoted"
"It wasn't like that. I swear. I didn't want to come back but the commander told me I should. If it meant lying to you an my brother then so be it. You both doubt my skills as a scout and I didn't want you doubting me as a leader."
He sighed and walked off. I looked down at my sling and sighed. I tried my hardest not to cry but I let the odd tear roll down my cheek when all of a sudden I was yanked up and pulled into someone's arms.
"I'm mad because I'm in love with you. If you died and I didn't help you I don't know what I would've done"
I relaxed in Erens arms and slowly began to cry into his chest.
"I'm sorry. I am." I moved away. "but I will continue to lead my group wether you like it or not"
"I want you to be my girlfriend" he said nervously.
"Why are you saying this?"
"It wasn't that long ago you told me I have to go or things because we could die so I'm going for this."
"You really want this. I have a habit for pushing people away."
"If it takes me tying myself to you so you can't push me away then that's what I'll do. I want to be with you. I want to know we were in love in case one of us dies"
"It wasn't long ago you were telling me I get people hurt and killed"
"I was angry because i was worried"
"And I was scared." I said looking up at him. "I have to protect people and doing that gets me nearly killed, a lot."
"I know. I get you. I get the whole point of it."
"You will never get it Eren" he went to grab my hand and I pulled away.
"You told me you loved me"
"And that was a mistake. Admitting to something like that only puts us both at risk."
"Risk of what?" He asked as I went to walk off.
"Judgement! If I see an opportunity to kill a Titan, saving several lives but it puts you at risk, I won't do it."
I turned around and sighed. "It's best for us both not to make relationships here"
"But you have 2 relationships already. Jean and Levi. What's one more"
"It won't be one more though will it! Accepting you into my life calls for mikasa and Armin and I can't do it" I jogged away into my small cabin and slammed the door. I leant against the door and slid down it until I was sitting against it.
"I know you're pushing me away because you're scared." Eren said sitting against the other side of the door. "But look at us. Mikasa is skilled, she's not gonna die any time soon and neither is Levi. Jean and Armin have me and you and I can turn into a Titan."
"That doesn't make you indestructible"
"Were all going to die eventually. I could die any minute of a natural cause. I can at least try and control when a Titan gets me"
"How"
"Stop doing my job. I could be more careful when I'm around them. I won't try to save you"
I wipe the tears off my face and stood up. I opened the door and he fell back a little.
"You promise that unless I'm dead you won't come to me."
"I promise" he said standing up.
"Okay then."
"Okay what?" He asked confused.
"I'll be your girlfriend." He smiled an hugged me. "I love you so much"
