Moving Forward

It is a special day we are getting married, the past 5-6 months, we have been busy with life. It all started with rehearsals we were doing long days practicing for everything at the end. We decided to push back the tour a while msybe combine it with our next album cycle thanks to the success we experienced.

Dangerously In Love the album was a hit we have 5 number 1 singles at this moment Dangerously In Love was number one. This is was so out of this world I never thought I would see that success not so quick. I am not letting it get to my head well trying I keep working hard on making my craft and perfecting it. I want something to look back and still love a good legacy.

As for Shawn and I we had some weak points but we didn't throw in the towel. We made it a point to talk to each other every day and discuss our plans often whether it was for that day or the future.

The interesting thing about love is that it must grow there is no such thing as reaching the peak. If you can't take the time to make it grow you lose that love. There are so many way to grow it and one the main things is communication when it comes to a relationship. You need to get to know the good and the bad of a person along with who they are.

Shawn was a very hands-on interactive person, he wanted to be there and get to a goal. He is goal driven and doesn't let things stop him so easily that does make him a little stubborn. His stubbornness was nothing compared to his patience and willingness to listen. If you get him mad he will not stay quiet he will speak up until there is a solution. He is slighty sassy but very classy. He looks quiet but he loves to talk to share the many stories he has learned growing up.

Now focusing on my family for a minute it is truly a journey we are now seeing the good days. There was a lot of back and forth yelling going to therapy. It took us a long time to get to this place and I am not taking it for granted.

My mom and I talk often she has helped me with picking outfits and she made some special pieces. She knew my style and what fits me very well, it was something that helped us. We still have our moments of fighting but we get over it now she is helping me get ready on my big day.

"You look beautiful baby I can't believe you are all grown up and getting married. I am so proud of you", my mom said.

"Aww my baby Bey I remember bringing you home from the hospital so tiny and so loving. You loved it when we sang to you just loved music. I watched you grow right in front of my eyes and it's wonderful. You're the best daughter I could ever ask for, you were so patient with me. Yo siempre voy estar alli para mi niña hermosa, te amo Bey. Cualquier tiempo que me necesites aqui estoy para ti, yo to quiero mucho. Aunque te cases sigues siendo mi niña"
(I'll always be there for you my beautiful babygirl I love you bey. Whenever you need me I will be there I care and I love a lot. Even though you're getting married your still my little girl", my dad said.

"My turn I missed out on some years not having a big sister but you're the best big sister always watching over me and helping me out. I am so glad to have you in my life and watch you beat all the odds. You make me work harder and I am gonna be doing sleep overs at your house for sure we gonna hang out.", Solange added to the moment.

Now I was looking at Kelly and Michelle they are  a big rock of my being there most of my life and the night I met Shawn.

"I go first", Kelly announced, "Been here since day one and never left I saw you and Shawn meet. I knew you even way longer talk about a freaking warrior you've dealt with a lot of crazy stuff and you still thrive. I always knew you'd see great success and I love seeing you now all hally and thriving. Knowing you, you going to higher places and I am right here watching it helping you by your side. You always got me and we definitely having many girl nights Shawn is sharing. Now you can go Michelle."
