She's a Fighter// a Greys Anatomy FF

Bath Time.

Do not have a dirty mind. This is simply what it says.

I noticed Mer kept rolling around in bed trying to fall asleep.
"Are you ok?"
"Sorry I woke you. My body just hurts."
"Ok. I'll go start a bath."
"What? It's 2 am."
"So? You're in pain and I can help."

I walked into the bathroom and turned on the bath. I put some bubble bath in it because why not?

I headed out and picked Mer up.
"I'm sorry."
I chuckle then say, "for what?"
"You could be asleep right now instead of helping my fat ass."
"You aren't fat. And I could, but I don't want to." I said as I took off her shirt.
"Mm. I love you."
"I love you."

We both got undressed and hopped in the tub. I was massaging Mer's shoulders and back. I felt bad that she had to carry twins that are basically soccer players. She is only about 5"4.

I turn the knob to turn the water jets on so it would help relax her.

I take her lavender shampoo and work it into her golden locks. I couldn't help but smile at how beautiful she is. Especially with a thirty week baby bump. She only had 6 weeks before the babies are supposed to arrive. It would normally be until 40 weeks, but with each additional baby, you deliver about a month earlier. I'm glad I'm here for this one.

I rinse her shampoo and do the same with her conditioner.
"I'm supposed to let it sit right?" I couldn't help but laugh with her. "Yes."

I go back to massaging her while I let her conditioner sit. Oh god how I love her. I felt so bad for leaving her alone. She didn't deserve it. I know it wasn't my fault. I was protecting my family. But she delivered a baby by herself for god's sake!

I rinse her conditioner and let her sit in my embrace for a bit.

I then turn the jets off, drain the water and wrap her in a big fluffy towel. I hold her for a bit before I dress her in one of my hoodies and a pair of shorts. She was so beautiful. And I made sure she knew it. "I love you Mer."
"I love you."

We fell asleep.
