"Kim gochujang," Taehyung asked as he to stir the pot
She picked up the red container that was a bit heavy and walked over to the tallboy.
"Open it for me," he asked not looking away from the pot
The kitchen was packed, teenagers frantically cutting vegetables, mixing sauces, stirring pots. Dee's mother would have thought it was hell on earth if she saw the state her kitchen was in.
"Bear, bring me the rice on the table"
She rushed over to grab the bowl unbeknownst to her with water in it. A bit of it spilled on her shirt disregarding the factor she walked over to Jungkook holding the bowl like a preschool holding their project they made.
Jungkook laughed at the girl when he turned around from the pot he was stirring. "you look like Jordan showing that Macaroni project"
Dee rolled her eyes at the boy as he took the bowl off her hands.
"now we blend," he said as the rice began to drain in the sifter
"y'all we actually did it," Namjoon said, breathing a breath of relief
"We really did" Kim leans onto Namjoon side unconsciously
"I made tteokbokki" Jungkook brought the plate over from the kitchen sitting it down at the dinner table
Everyone sat down grabbing the utensils placed on the table. Chopsticks; Dee stared at them with confusion. She had no clue how to use them or what they were. As everyone grabbed a pair Dee ponder if she should get up to get a fork. She thought about it and stood up from her seat.
"Bear, where you going?" Jungkook asked
Dee stood like a deer in headlights. In her mind, she thought it was disrespectful of her to not know how to eat with the utensils.
"me?? yea uh I was gonna get some water" her voice going up an octave
"but the fridge over there" Jungkook stood from his seat and moved closer to his friend
"j, honestly—" she was cut off
"you don't know how to use them?" Jungkook read her so easily it made Dee release the stress she had
"is that a bad thing," Dee asked curiously
"what no Dee it's alright I'll teach you" Jungkook placed his large hand on the small of her back
"Just don't ever do that at dinner" Jungkook voiced,
It took Dee forty-five minutes to be able to pick up a single rice cake. When she did she rejoiced in her success. Jungkook watched her in awe as she placed the rice cake in her mouth moaning at the test of food.
"it so good" Dee chewed on the rice cake with glee
"I knew you'd like it," Jungkook said getting up from his seat
