Faith Revival for the Pure Heart

The foundation of Islam, if put into one thing
would be establishing the 5 daily prayers
and how we treated that obligation,
as if it isn't the focal point of our lives
and the foundation of our day
ask for strength in iman before it's too late

Passing down Islam to future generations
is by the passing of the prayer,
we think success is from the fame
but as we know that is not the case,
we see Salah as a burden but it gives us
all the answers to the problems we face

My Rabb, listen to what I've got to say
allow Salah to be the seed in my heart
that continues to grow while allowing
it to flourish until my last day
and make the heart ache when I hide it
from the nourishment it takes

Allow me to see myself on Judgement Day
holding my book in my right hand
knowing that I am one of the successful
while showing it to people with no shame,
when knowing that this life is only a test
and entering Jannah in the next stage

‎رَبِّ اجْعَلْنِي مُقِيمَ الصَّلَاةِ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِي رَبَّنَا وَتَقَبَّلْ دُعَاءِ

My Lord! make me keep up prayer and from my offspring (too), O our Lord, and accept my prayer
